SOLAR PANEL ROOF
20230231509 · 2023-07-20 ·

A solar panel system comprising a plurality of joists, and a set of rectangular solar panels, each solar panel supported along opposing sides by two supporting joists. Each joist is formed with a plurality of wedge-shaped recesses, each recess having an end surface and a flat, sloping supporting surface meeting with a bottom edge of the end surface, the plurality of recesses together forming a saw-tooth contour. Each solar panel is received in the recesses of its supporting joists, resting on the supporting surfaces of the recesses with an upper edge of the solar panel meeting the end surfaces of the recesses, such that an upper solar panel has a lower edge which protrudes over an upper edge of a lower solar panel. With this design, the recesses provide guiding and fixation during the mounting, which saves time and ensures a reliable mounting process.

A roof structure has a level support frame extending in a support frame plane, is supported by a support structure and has at least two longitudinal beams arranged parallel and at a mutual distance from each other and at least two cross beams arranged parallel to each other and at a mutual distance from each other and surrounds a frame field. Several rafters connect the cross beams with each other and are arranged at a mutual distance from the longitudinal beams in such a way that the frame field is divided into several roof fields. The roof fields are each covered by a level cover plate, wherein each cover plate extends in its own cover plane and the cover planes are arranged at an angle to the support frame plane. The cover plates are each rectangular and have a long longitudinal axis and a short longitudinal axis perpendicular to it.

Skylight framing system

A skylight assembly, having framing members that define an interior space and rafters that span the interior space between framing members, the framing members having an upper support surface for supporting panes of glass, each pane having at least one structural glass panel and a thermal panel. A structural thermal break connected to each framing member provides a lower support surface. The structural glass panels are fully supported by the upper support surface. The thermal panel is supported by the lower support surface, and is sealed to the upper support surface by a spacer, forming an insulating glass unit therewith. The full support of the structural glass, independent of the support of the thermal panel, allows the skylight to be thermally insulated and walkable.

A skylight assembly, having framing members that define an interior space and rafters that span the interior space between framing members, for supporting panes of glass, each pane having at least one structural glass panel and a thermal panel. The framing members have an upper support surface and a main gutter. Support blocks extending on each rafter have drainage channels that lead to the main gutters in the framing members.

A glazing and condensation system for roof panels comprises mullions and purlins. Roof panels are disposed above the mullion. A section of double-sided tape is disposed between a first roof panel and the mullion. A section of double-sided tape is disposed between a second roof panel and the mullion. The roof panels can be solar roof panels and/or glass roof panels. A first condensation collection channel is arranged beneath the first roof panel. A second condensation collection channel is arranged beneath the second roof panel. A third condensation collection channel is arranged perpendicular to the mullion, beneath the first roof panel, and above the first condensation collection channel. A fourth condensation collection channel is arranged perpendicular to the mullion, beneath the second roof panel, and above the second condensation collection channel. The condensation collection channels collect condensation and/or drippage from roof panels, and cause condensation and/or drippage to be channeled away from a solar cover. A wire casing includes wires that are connected to solar roof panels.
