ROOF DRAIN ATTACHMENT
A drain assembly for use with a plumbing system. The drain assembly includes a base, a dome, and a drain attachment. The base includes a first end, a second end opposite first end, and defining a central axis. The base at least partially defines a channel open to both the first end and the second end. The channel has an inlet at the first end of the base. The dome is coupled to the base and at least partially encloses the inlet. The drain attachment includes a body and a plurality of baffles. The body extends parallel to the central axis and includes a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The body also defines a passageway open to both the first end and the second end. The plurality of baffles extends outwardly from the body.
DRAINAGE SYSTEM
The invention refers to a drainage system (100), in particular a roof drainage system, comprising an outlet member (10) and a flow restrictor (20), whereby the flow restrictor (20) is situated above the outlet member (10). The flow restrictor (20) comprises a contact portion (22) and the outlet member (10) comprises a flange portion (12), whereby a first sealing member (30) is arranged on and/or along the flange portion (12) of the outlet member (10) and a second sealing member (40) is arranged at the contact portion (22) of the flow restrictor (20).
Collapsible plug for downspouts
A one-piece shield for temporarily covering the upper inlet of a downspout. The shield includes a single sheet of resilient material, with a pair of tabs that cooperate with a slot in the sheet. The sheet is rolled up to create a tubular portion. One of the tabs is turned into the tubular portion to block the passage into the tubular portion, and the other tab cooperates with the slot to keep the device rolled up, so that the tubular portion blocks entry of debris into the downspout. The device is unrolled after use, and stored flat.
Sump drain apparatus, system, and method of construction
The present disclosure provides a sump drain apparatus comprising a drain inlet and a ramp coupled to the drain inlet comprising an incline plane configured to divert drainage water toward the drain bowl, wherein at least a portion of the ramp is configured to be positioned on top of a roof deck.
ROOF SCUPPER OVERFLOW WITH SENSOR
The roof scupper overflow with sensor cooperatively engages and replaces a conventional roof opening through a wall or in a corner to prevent trash from reaching and clogging the conventional roof basket and drain. Accumulating trash builds up on the screen of the roof scupper overflow causing a foam float or buoy connected to a trash tray to rise permitting water to run under the trash trap at roof level. The trash tray is retained to a base with magnets. When the water reaches a predetermined level, the foam buoy rises pulling the trash tray away from the base allowing water to flow to the conventional roof drain basket and activating a magnet switch sending a signal to overflow sensor and a control module connected to WIFI service.
Drainage device equipped with an attachment sleeve for construction, particularly a building roof or a terrace
The drainage device 10 comprises: a drainage head 24 internally delimiting a collection space 34 and provided with at least one through recovery passage 36, 38, an attachment sleeve 26 at least partially deformable, secured to the drainage 24 and capable of being engaged inside the flow pipe 20, a compression washer 28 attached on the attachment sleeve 26, and a stressing element 30 movable in relation to the drainage head 24 and cooperating with the compression washer 28 to obtain, under the effect of a movement of said stressing element relative to the drainage head, an axial movement of the compression washer 28 on the side of the drainage head and an outward radial deformation of the attachment sleeve 26.
DRAIN RETROFIT AND METHOD
A drain insert assembly is provided for retrofitting or for use with an existing drain bowl received in a roof surface that interconnects with a drain pipe. The drain insert assembly includes a drain insert configured to extend between the roof and the existing drain pipe. The drain insert includes a first, end portion dimensioned for receipt in the existing drain pipe, and a second portion dimensioned to cover an inner surface of the existing drain bowl, and at least one flange extending outwardly from the end portion. An uncured seal material is interposed between the end portion and the existing drain pipe.
INTELLIGENT ROOF DRAIN SYSTEMS AND METHODS
An intelligent roof drain system includes a roof drain surrounded by a drain plate. A water seepage detection module is disposed proximate the drain plate. The water seepage detection module includes water seepage detection sensors and circuitry and an antenna system to inductively receive power and communicate water seepage data. A roofing membrane is disposed over the water seepage detection module. A monitoring module that includes control circuitry, power supply circuitry, water level detection circuitry, communications interface circuitry, and an antenna system to inductively supply power to and communicate with the water seepage detection module is disposed proximate the water seepage detection module such that the antenna systems align. The intelligent roof drain system can detect water seepage under the roofing membrane and standing water proximate the roof drain and communicate such events to a gateway and/or building management system.
