Skylight and smoke vent gutter uplift channel assembly
11473307 · 2022-10-18 ·

A gutter uplift channel assembly is configured to mount skylights, smoke vents, or other roof accessories to a roof having a pair of longitudinally extending roof curbs. A gutter extends between the pair of roof curbs and is secured to the roof curbs to channel water laterally over the roof curbs. The gutter receives longitudinal ends of a pair of roof accessories to be mounted next to each other. An uplift channel or cap of the gutter channel assembly extends over the longitudinal ends or rims of the roof accessories and is secured to the gutter via threaded rods extending up from the gutter through corresponding holes in the uplift channel and nuts placed on the threaded rods.

Rooftop-mountable load support structure with adapter plug(s)

Load support structures for mounting a load atop a raised rib metal panel roof make use of relatively small, inexpensive, and easy-to-make adapter plugs as interfaces between the raised ribs and one or more component pieces or members of the load support structure, such as an upper diverter or a lower closure member. The adapter plug has an inner surface and an outer surface, the inner surface having an inner profile substantially matching or conforming to some or all of the profile of a particular style of rib profile. The outer surface of the adapter plug has a standardized shape, some or all of which is made to conform to an upper diverter, lower closure, and/or other component member of the load support structure.

CANOPY GUTTER SYSTEM
20170234030 · 2017-08-17 ·

A canopy gutter system includes a rainwater collection slot disposed on the top side of a canopy for collecting rainwater from the top side of the canopy, thereby preventing the rainwater from cascading over the sides of the canopy. The canopy gutter system further includes a rainwater gutter disposed underneath the rainwater collection slot for receiving the collected rainwater and channeling the collected rainwater away from a side of the canopy, toward a corner of the canopy. The canopy gutter system further includes a spout for transporting the channeled water from the rainwater gutter downward toward the ground along a leg of the canopy.

Hybridized canopy

An example canopy includes a plurality of panels arranged in a plurality of rows and a plurality of sequences, including a first sequence, second sequence, and a third sequence. The second sequence is disposed between the first and third sequences and forms a rainwater collection channel. The panels of the second sequence are angled with respect to the panels of the first and third sequences to optimize solar radiation and rainwater collection efficiency. Photovoltaic cells are provided on a flexible top surface of some or all of the panels. A hybrid canopy, a method of making a hybrid canopy, and a method of using and learning from a hybrid canopy, are shown and described.

COVER APPARATUS WITH CONTINUING COVER PLATES

A cover apparatus (1), comprising cover plates (2) continuing in a position of use in a common plane and in at least one row, is formed in a mutual edge-side contact region (3) through overlapping and in a rainproof manner, such that edges (5) running parallel to each other and spaced apart on each cover plate (2) are designed differently (6), and the top side (7) of the cover plate (2), a continuing web (8) and a rain gutter (9) under said web (8) are arranged on a first edge (5), wherein said rain gutter belongs to the same first edge (5). If necessary, penetrating rain water (12) can be caught in the rain gutter (9) by overlapping edge-side webs (8) in the position of use.

Universal Step Flashing Channel

A system for protecting walls/roofs from water uses a detachable flashing channel and a step flashing unit. The detachable flashing unit is a J shape structure which facilitates the protection of walls from rain water and the step flashing unit is a L shape structure also facilitating the protection of roofs from rain water.

CONSTRUCTION PANEL FOR USE AS SELF-SUPPORTING WALL PANEL OR ROOF PANEL
20220009196 · 2022-01-13 · ·

Construction panel for use as a self-supporting wall or roof panel having a high thermal insulation, comprising a base layer (1) of foamed material provided on both sides with a cover layer (2, 3) of fibre-reinforced, thermo-setting sheet material. The transverse surfaces are covered with a layer of polyurea, polyester or epoxy (5, 7).

BUILDING AND FLASHING

A building includes an outer wall, a roof arranged so as to be orthogonal to the outer wall and inclined with respect to the ground, and a flashing arranged at a boundary between the roof and the outer wall. The flashing includes an attachment configured to extend along the outer wall, a guide connected to the attachment and arranged above the roof, and a water draining portion arranged so as to intersect the attachment and the guide.

Louver canopy

A louver canopy comprises a frame with a top disposed with parallel rafters; a plurality of louvers rotationally connected between the rafters and sequentially arranged along a length direction of the rafters, the louvers are disposed at intervals and parallel to each other, each of the louvers includes an elongated flashing; a baffle connected to a first long side of the flashing; an elongated first guide groove formed between the baffle and the flashing; When the louvers rotate to a closed state, an opening of the first guide groove faces upward, and a second long side of the flashing passes over a top of the baffle of an adjacent louver of the louvers and positions above the first guide groove of the adjacent louver.

Modular rooftop with variable slope panels

In a roofing structure, two roof panels with different slopes and lengths are positioned back-to-back, the vertical back walls of the panels having a uniform height. The seam between the two differently-sloped panels are connected by a ridge cap set at a uniform height. The ridge cap covers the seam, extending on both sides to a distance from the back walls of the roof panels sufficient to create a capillary break therefrom (preventing moisture migration) and then downwards and slightly towards the back walls of the roof panels, thereby using gravity to direct the water into the downward sloping roof panels.
