Roofing panels with water shedding features

Roofing panels with water shedding features may be installed on the roof of a house or other structure in lieu of or as an underlayment for traditional roofing materials. The water shedding features can be built into a base of the roofing panels, as part of a frame for the roofing panels, or formed as part of a waterproofing layer applied to the base of the roofing panels, or which can be configured as a roofing panel. The roofing panels also can be installed in overlapping courses along a roof with water shedding features applied thereto or incorporated along one or more peripheral edges. The water shedding features of adjacent roofing panels will collect and divert water away from the upper surfaces and/or away from headlap and/or sidelap joints defined between the roofing panels.

PANELIZED ROOFING SYSTEM

A roofing system including a plurality of roofing panels that can be releasably secured to rafters or other supports of the roof by connectors. In embodiments, the connectors can include first and second connectors, each of which can include a plate with a projection extending therefrom, and with the plates defining flanges on each side of the projection. The plates of the first and second connectors are configured to seat on and at least partially extend along one of the rafters of the roof structure and along exterior facing surfaces of adjacent ones of the roofing panels to releasably secure the roofing panels to the rafters.

ROOFING PANELS WITH INTEGRATED WATERSHEDDING

Panels with substantially integrated watershedding features may be installed on the roof a house or other structure in lieu of traditional roofing materials. The panels include a body formed from a mixture of filler materials and polymeric binder materials, which can include recycled materials, with watershedding features generally formed with and/or integrated with the panels. The panels also can be installed in overlapping courses along a roof with the watershedding features incorporated along one or more peripheral edges. The watershedding features of adjacent panels further can cooperated to collect and divert water away from the upper surfaces and/or away headlap and/or sidelap joints defined between the panels.

Combined device having device for connecting cross beam for receiving pivot pins and two lower longitudinal beams of coach body for rail vehicle

A device for connecting a cross member for receiving pivot pins on two lower longitudinal members of a car body for a rail vehicle. The cross member has a transversal part that connects the two longitudinal members to each other in the region of the connection, and a longitudinal part that extends to the closest car front. The lower longitudinal members extend over the complete length of the car body and consist of multi-chamber hollow profiles made of a fibre composite material. The number of chambers of the multi-chamber hollow profile of each longitudinal member is reduced in the region of the connection such that the wall material of at least one chamber was removed in such a way that the webs to the adjacent chambers are exposed. At these places, load-introducing elements engage, to which load-introducing elements the cross member is attached.

ROOFING BATTEN

A batten for use in roofing applications is defined by an upside-down U-shaped channel with outwardly projecting horizontal flanges. In certain versions, the legs forming the sides of the channel are asymmetrical to allow vertical orientation of at least one of the legs when installed on an angled roof. This improves strength and load bearing of the installed member, and allows it to provide a fall barrier for roof installers. In certain versions, one of the flanges has a ribbed impact reduction zone. This zone deforms when a building anchor, such as a nail, passes through it to anchor the member to a roof. The deformation prevents anchors fired from conventional equipment from passing completely through the member and holds the anchors more securely in place.

A building system and a method for constructing a building, the system (100) comprising plurality of prefabricated elements (I), the element (1) comprising: a self-supporting insulation panel (2) comprising a rigid insulation material, —a metal frame (3), comprising a pair of sub-frames. The length of the sub-frame (7a, 7b) has a cross-section comprising an attaching arm (10) extending along the corresponding edge surface (6a, 6b), and an intruding section (11) arranged in the attaching arm (10), the intruding section (II) intruding into the insulation element (5). A box-type structure (12) is arranged distally from the intruding section (11) and comprising a closed or partly open construction. The building system further comprises a connecting element (4), having a cross-section basically a shape of a U-profile. The connecting element (4) is arranged on sub-frames (7a, 7b) of two adjacent elements (1).
