FULLY-ADHERED ROOF SYSTEM ADHERED AND SEAMED WITH A COMMON ADHESIVE

A roof system comprising a roof substrate, a first membrane including first and second opposed planar surfaces, and a second membrane including opposed first and second planar surfaces, where said second membrane is adhered to said roof substrate through an adhesive disposed on said roof-substrate contacting portion of the first membrane, and where said second membrane is adhered to said first membrane through said adhesive disposed on a lap portion of said second membrane.

Membrane installation methods

A method includes obtaining a roofing membrane. A first layer of the roofing membrane is applied along a length of a roofing substrate covering a first portion of the roofing substrate. At least a first edge of the first layer is fastened to the roofing substrate. A second layer of the roofing membrane is applied over the first layer along the length of the roofing substrate such that a first edge of the second layer overlies the second edge of the first layer. The first edge of the second layer and the second edge of the first layer are fastened to the roofing substrate using a second fastener in a fastening zone along the length the roofing substrate. The second layer is reoriented such that the second layer overlies the fastening zone and covers a second portion of the roofing substrate adjacent the first portion of the roofing substrate.

Thermoplastic flashing laminate

A flashing laminate includes a non-reinforced thermoplastic sheet having a bottom surface, a first longitudinal edge, and a second longitudinal edge. The flashing laminate also includes an adhesive layer on a longitudinally extending portion of the bottom surface adjacent to one of the longitudinal edges. In one or more embodiments, the laminate also includes a release liner positioned over the adhesive tape.

A roof that comprises a flexible, sun and rain resistant sheet constructed such that when suspended and extended to form the roof, design-integrated rain valleys are formed that channel water to and off the outside edges of the roof.

Rolled Roof Standing Seam System and Method of Construction

The present disclosure relates generally to roofing structures, for example, suitable for covering houses and other structures. The present disclosure relates more particularly to a roofing structure including a decking layer, a base layer, a cap layer, and a plurality of rails disposed over the cap layer. The base layer includes a plurality of strips that form seams including a first base layer seam. The cap layer also includes a plurality of strips that form seams including a first cap layer seam that is spaced from the first base layer seam. The rails include a first rail that is aligned with the first base layer seam and a second rail that is aligned with the first cap layer seam.

ROOFING MEMBRANES COMPRISING PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVES AND METHODS OF USING SAME

Provided are roofing membranes comprising pressure-sensitive adhesives particularly adapted for use at cold temperature, and methods for using same. In one aspect, the disclosure provides a roofing membrane comprising: a bituminous sheet having a lower bituminous surface and an upper bituminous surface; and a non-bituminous cold-temperature pressure-sensitive adhesive disposed on the lower bituminous surface, the upper bituminous surface, or both, wherein the cold-temperature pressure-sensitive adhesive has an average adhesion of at least 10 lbs/ft (146 N/m) at 2° C. as measured by a two hour T-peel test.

Dual strip protective edge film for roofing membrane seams

A dual strip protective edge film system for a roofing membrane having a first protective edge film strip covering a top edge portion of the roofing membrane and a second protective edge film strip covering a top portion of the roofing membrane, wherein the second protective edge film strip is positioned in parallel next to the first protective edge film strip, and wherein both of the edge strips have a combined width approximately equal to the width of the overlap between two overlapping roofing membranes that are adhesively secured or thermally welded together.
