WALKWAY AND WALKWAY SYSTEM FOR AN AVIARY
The present embodiments provide an aviary, a walkway for an aviary, and a walkway system for an aviary. The walkway includes a ramp and at least one support disposed below the ramp.
TRAVELING ASSISTANCE TOOL FOR WHEELCHAIR
This traveling assistance tool for a wheelchair includes a travel path member including a travel path part on which a wheelchair travels and a reinforcing part for reinforcing the travel path part from below; and end members which are fitted to the ends of the travel path member to introduce a wheelchair onto the travel path part, the reinforcing part being constituted of a plurality of hollow segments arranged in a single line in the crossing direction of the travel path part, where the traveling assistance tool for a wheelchair is characterized in that the end members have: insertion parts which are inserted into ends of the reinforcing parts; and a support part which supports the ends of the reinforcing part from below.
Hinge system and a portable gangway using the hinge system
A hinge system (1, 1a) for use with a lightweight, portable gangway (100), the hinge system (1a) comprising at least three plates (2a,2b,2c), a bar (4) and a washer (6), wherein a first pair of the plates (2a,2b) are attached at either side of a lower surface (106) of a first section (102a) of the gangway (100) and the other plate (2c) is attached at approximately the centre of a second section (102b) of the gangway (100), so that when the sections (102a,102b) are brought towards each other, the first pair of the plates (2a,2b) are aligned with the other plate (2c).
Elbow assembly for ramp and platform assembly
The present disclosure provides elbow assemblies for ramp and platform assemblies, and ramp and platform assemblies. The elbow assembly includes a first elbow sub-part that is configured to nest within a second elbow sub-part. The elbow assembly includes useful features, including structure that enables direct connection either to a tubular support member or a flat portion of a support member, and structure that provides a smooth transition between the first elbow sub-part and the second elbow sub-part at any angle within the range of motion.
PORTABLE RAMP
A ramp includes a plate member. The ramp is formed from a carbon fiber-reinforced resin having a longitudinal elastic modulus in the bridging direction of 50+ GPa, and a connecting section that connects the plate member which plate member can be divided into two in a plane perpendicular to the plate member and parallel to the bridging direction. A reinforcement part forms a plurality of hollow segments arranged single file along the bridging direction of the plate member. The cross section shape perpendicular to the direction of extension of the hollow segments is trapezoidal, the height of the trapezoid is 10 to 50 mm, the base angles are 45° to 90°, the width of the plane that contacts the trapezoidal plate member is 100 to 10 mm, and derailment preventing walls connect to portions of plate member side end faces and hollow segment side end faces.
RAMPS TO FACILITATE CROSSING THRESHOLDS OF SLIDING DOORS
Ramps to facilitate crossing thresholds of sliding doors are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a ramp to be positioned adjacent a threshold of a sliding door; a bridge plate; and a hinge to rotatable couple the bridge plate to the ramp. The bridge plate is to rotate between a stowed position and a deployed position. The bridge plate is to be positioned clear of a path of a panel of the sliding door when in the stowed position. The bridge plate is to extend across the threshold when in the deployed position.
ASCENDING MECHANISED ACCESS RAMP (A-MAR)
An access ramp system for access between a first and a second object is provided. The second object is elevated with respect to the first object. The system includes: a supporting frame mountable to the first object; a casing box mounted to the supporting frame; a sliding ramp installed to slide inside the casing box; and a deployment mechanism for automatically moving the sliding ramp between a stand-by and a fully deployed position. In the deployed position, a nose of the sliding ramp is raised to a height equal with the second object and is engaged with the second object. In the deployed position, the sliding ramp and casing box extend across a vertical gap and a horizontal gap between the first and second objects. An upper surface of the sliding ramp and casing box defines a support surface for supporting people or objects moving between the first and second objects.
Rubber Wheelchair Access Ramp
A wheelchair access ramp suitable for wheelchair and pedestrian traffic includes a base layer adapted for placement of the access ramp, an adhesive layer applied to the base layer, the adhesive layer being effective in adhering to base layer, a grit material deposited across the adhesive layer to provide a slip-resistant surface, and a sealing layer applied across the slip-resistant surface providing a sealed slip-resistant surface exposed for wheelchair traffic across the access ramp.
Ultra-light freestanding pet ramp
A pet ramp is provided having two panels in a collapsible arrangement, with a first panel having legs and a second panel able to be cantilevered from the first panel. The second panel extends beyond the legs and is pivotable to rest on any available surface. A stop is provided between the first and second panels to hold a cantilevered deployed position of the second panel.
Wheelchair ramp system using structrually insulated panel (SIPs)
A wheelchair ramp system includes a ramp constructed from at least one structural insulated panel (SIP) having a foam core sandwiched between two structural facing panels such as oriented strand board (OSB). An outdoor exterior coating such as polyaspartic coating covers the SIP panel for allowing the SIP panel to be resistant to outdoor elements. At least one guardrail or handrail is secured to the side of the SIP for providing a safety barrier to persons using the ramp system.
