A manufacturing assembly and method produce a wire mesh including a plurality of longitudinal members and a monolithic transverse member secured to the plurality of longitudinal members. The monolithic transverse member includes a plurality of transverse portions that define a first cross-sectional shape, and further includes a plurality of longitudinal portions that define a second cross-sectional shape different than the first cross-sectional shape.

STAY-IN-PLACE READY-TO-STUCCO FORMWORK SYSTEM
20200362560 · 2020-11-19 ·

A stay-in-place concrete formwork system allows stucco to be applied directly to the formwork, avoiding the need to provide a further surface treatment of the wall prior to applying stucco. Apertures are provided on an exterior facing wall of the formwork panel to receive and embed stucco therein. The panel may also be formed with outward stucco-engaging projections. Other features include using rigid insulation to brace the stucco and keep concrete from the apertures, a sealing joint element, extendible panels for use in curved formwork, rainscreen features and an alligator connector panel for adjustable lengths of formwork faces.

Vented stop bead apparatus, vented weep screed apparatus, and related systems and methods thereof

A vented stop bead and a vented weep screed are used to vent a stucco or plaster wall. The vented stop bead has a base panel with a stop bead wall extending from the base panel at a first location and a spacing member wall extending from the base panel at a second location, wherein a spacing member is connected to the spacing member wall. A vented portion is positioned between the stop bead wall and the spacing member wall, wherein the vented portion has a venting structure positioned through the base panel between the first and second locations. The vented weep screed has a nailing fin with a first leg extending therefrom at a first location. A second leg extends from the nailing fin at a second location, the second leg having at least one venting structure positioned through the second leg.

Expansion/control joint for stucco surfaces and related systems and methods

An expansion/control joint for use within a stucco or plaster wall includes a first base panel having a first stucco stop wall formed on the first base panel and extending from the first base panel. A second base panel has a second stucco stop wall formed on the second base panel and extends from the second base panel. The second stucco stop wall is positioned spaced a distance from the first stucco stop wall. A single expansion joint is connected between the first and second stucco stop walls and extends the spaced distance between the first and second stucco stop walls.

Mixed stucco block

The invention is a mixed stucco block of gypsum blocks. Due to using a layer of compacted polystyrene in its center, it is much lighter than regular gypsum blocks. In addition, its heat transfer coefficient is less than solid stucco panels. In addition, due to applying some smithereens in it along with support system and innovative Rabyts, mechanical connection of cement mortar is provided for it. Therefore it is possible to use this block in wet places including in bathroom, WC, and as the side wall of the faade.

A modular water-resistant paneling system and method is configured for being retrofitted into walls of existing finished basements or buildings and/or used in new construction, using components fastenable onto wall studs supporting drywall. The components include dimensionally stable water-resistant panels, and finishing strips having a backing flange and an upper lip portion sized and shaped to receive upper edge portions of the panels therein. The backing flange is fastenable to the wall studs while maintaining the panels in spaced relation therefrom, to maintain interior facing surfaces of the panels and drywall flush with one another. The upper lip portion includes opposing flanges configured for superposed engagement with adjacent portions of the interior facing surfaces of the panels and drywall. Mounting clips are sized and shaped for receiving a stud therein, and have a support flange for supporting lower edge portions of the panels.

Lath stapling system

A cost-effective and expeditious method for attaching a water channel layer to lath pre-installation, for subsequent application to an inner wall structure, increasing the efficiency and decreasing the cost of building construction, and also encompasses the stock material made thereby. In one form, there is a stapling frame equipped to be placed in juxtaposition to a water channel layer atop a layer of lath on and adjacent surface. A plurality of staplers mounted to the frame then combine the water channel layer and lath to form an integrated stock material that can then be used in a wall structure.
