Lath with flattened tabs
A manufacturing assembly and method produce a wire mesh including a plurality of longitudinal members and a monolithic transverse member secured to the plurality of longitudinal members. The monolithic transverse member includes a plurality of transverse portions that define a first cross-sectional shape, and further includes a plurality of longitudinal portions that define a second cross-sectional shape different than the first cross-sectional shape.
METHOD FOR THE FORMING AND FINISHING OF AN ACCESSORY CLADDING ELEMENT FOR USE IN ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN
A method for making an accessory cladding element for use in architecture and design. The method provides preparing an elastically deformable support element, including a first outer surface, in particular a decorated surface, a second outer surface and a plurality of spacer elements placed between the two surfaces. An impermeable and removable layer is applied on the first outer surface to protect at least a part thereof. Then a fluid cement mixture is prepared and introduced into the support element to obtain a cement-based composite structure in a deformable state. The excess fluid cement mixture is removed from the support element. The cement-based composite structure in the deformable state is positioned in a forming device which gives it the desired shape. The composite structure is solidified and after the removable layer is removed.
COMBINATION RAINSCREEN/LATH ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF INSTALLING SAME
A combination rainscreen/lath assembly comprises a corrugated spunbond layer and a lath layer operatively connected to the corrugated spunbond layer. Optionally, the lath layer is corrugated. The assembly is configured and arranged to allow air and moisture to flow therethrough.
STRUCTURAL SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR ROCKWORK WITH MECHANICAL FASTENING OF ADJACENT CHIP ASSEMBLIES
Rebar-based support assemblies that can be fabricated without the need for on-site welding. The assemblies include a number of differing sized and shaped crimps used in place of welds to provide rebar assembly-to-rebar assembly connections. Each crimp mechanically couples two or three pieces of rebar together, such as a border bar of one rebar assembly to a border bar of an adjacent rebar assembly. Each crimp includes a body with two or more arcuate recessed surfaces each for receiving a piece of rebar. In a first configuration of the crimp, a pair of spaced-apart arms (or extending members) extend from the body and define an opening through which the rebar is passed and set into the recessed surfaces. A deformation force is applied upon the two arms to deform the body into a second configuration with the arms in abutting contact or nearly so at an outer tip or end.
Lath device, assembly and method
The present invention provides for a welded wire lath device having a plurality of longitudinal wires extending along a plane and in a longitudinal direction, a plurality of tension release devices disposed on the plurality of longitudinal wires, a plurality of transverse wires extending along the plane in a transverse direction; and a plurality of weld connections at each intersection point between the plurality of longitudinal wires and the plurality of transverse wires. Each of the plurality of tension release devices are randomly spaced along the plurality of parallel longitudinal wires. The longitudinal wires, including each of the plurality of tension release devices, have a rectilinear cross-section. The present invention also provides for a structural assembly, and related method, having the welded wire lath device attached to a structural support such as a wall or ceiling and having a cementitious material embedded within the welded wire lath device.
Adhesive Expanded Metal Lath
Expanded metal lath products, or non-metal facsimile products, are disclosed with moisture resistant pressure sensitive adhesive covered by release sheets, and the use of such products in drywall seaming and their manufacture.
Lath and drainage
An improved lath is disclosed having a water drainage layer provided in association with the lath. The water drainage layer serves to remove water that might otherwise build up between the lath and wall structure.
STUCCO CONSTRUCTION SYSTEM
A stucco construction system and method of installing the stucco construction system that includes a substrate, a first sheathing, a plurality of brackets, a plurality of insulation panels, a second sheathing and a stucco layer. The substrate has a first side and a second side. The first sheathing extends over the second side of the substrate. The plurality of brackets is positioned on the second side of the first sheathing and are coupled to one of the substrate and the first sheathing. The plurality of brackets are spaced apart from each other. The plurality of insulation panels is positioned such that each insulation panel is positioned between the plurality of brackets. The second sheathing extends over the plurality of brackets and the insulation panels and is attached to the plurality of brackets. The stucco layer is disposed over the second sheathing.
STUCCO SUPPORT STRUCTURES AND STUCCO WALLS
Stucco support structures and stucco wall systems incorporating the stucco support structures are provided. The stucco support structure includes a structural layer of composite material. The composite material includes a homogenous matrix of a gypsum material and a polymer resin material, and wet-use chopped strand fibers that are filamentized within the homogenous matrix. The stucco support structure also includes a stucco adhesion member interfaced with the structural layer that is configured to receive and bond a stucco material to the structural layer. The stucco support structure eliminates the need for sheathing and wire mesh lath conventionally used in stucco applications.
Composite heat insulation system
The invention relates to a composite heat insulation system, comprising an insulating layer, optionally a reinforcing layer, which is applied to the insulating layer, and a cover layer, which is applied to the insulating layer or, if present, to the reinforcing layer, characterized in that the cover layer contains composite particles, wherein the composite particles contain at least one organic polymer and at least one inorganic solid, wherein the weight percentage of inorganic solid is 15 to 40 wt %, with respect to the total weight of organic polymer and inorganic solid in the composite particle.
