DECORATIVE QUOIN INSTALLATION AND ILLUMINATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A prefabricated decorative quoin system includes an elongated edge column attachable to an existing wall corner. The elongated edge column may be formed by a plurality of elongated edge members interconnected end-to-end. A plurality of prefabricated quoin panels are attached to the edge column in vertical stacked relation. A lighting array disposed relative to an inner surface of the quoin panels may be used to illuminate the quoin panels.
Modular Facing for Building Construction
The present invention relates to a facing surface which can be applied on a building construction. The object of the inventions is to provide a facing surface for a building construction which is reliable, robust and weather resistant, and furthermore is easy to handle, easy to attach to a building construction and easy to maintain afterwards. The present invention addresses this by providing a facing panel system for building constructions, comprising: a facing panel, where the facing panel has an outer surface and an inner surface, a first and a second panel edge, where a first panel flange extends from said first panel edge and a second panel flange extends from said second panel edge, where said first panel flange and said second panel flange are extended in approximately the same direction, forming an inner groove which encloses said inner surface, where at least one panel attachment rail is arranged in the inner groove extending from said inner surface, a mounting bracket comprising at least one bracket attachment rail, where a cross-section through at least one said facing panel is identical to a cross-section through said mounting bracket,
where said facing panel is capable of being attached to the mounting bracket, when said facing panel is arranged in an upside down inverted position relative to said mounting bracket, where the inner surface of said facing panel is facing said mounting bracket, where the panel attachment rail is capable of engaging the bracket attachment rail.
Adjustable cladding for mitigating wind-induced vibration of high-rise structures
A system, device and method for reducing wind-induced vibration using cladding includes one or more movable panels attached to an outer façade of a high-rise building, skyscraper or any other structure subject to wind-induced vibration.
Siding outer corner post cap
The corner caps have retention flanges and tabs which prevent the caps from being pulled or rooted from the corner posts. The corner cap includes two adjacent upright rear walls that terminate in angled retaining flanges and an L-shaped bottom wall that terminate in angled retaining tabs. The edge of the retaining tabs and retaining flanges press against the walls of the corner posts when the corner cap is inserted into the corner post. The mechanical resilience in the bends that form the retaining tabs and flanges allow the engagement between the corner cap and corner post to securely hold the cap within the post and prevent it from being pulled or rooted out of the corner post by small animals.
Interlocking tiles
A tile system for a burn room includes a plurality of interlocking surface tiles, each surface tile having an upper portion and a lower portion. The lower portion extends beyond at least a portion of a perimeter of the upper portion to define a flange. The system further includes a plurality of interlocking corner tiles configured to interact with at least one of the plurality of surface tiles; and a bracket system for securing the plurality of surface tiles and the plurality of corner tiles to a surface.
FORMABLE CORNER FINISHING AND TRIM STRIP
A formable trim strip for use in connection with drywall applications includes two or more layers, including a trim strip body and a backing paper. The trim strip body extends along a body axis and has a top surface and a bottom surface. The trim strip body comprises a polymer material. The backing paper includes a portion secured to the bottom surface of the trim strip body without an intervening layer of adhesive material. The trim strip body is coated onto the portion of the backing paper when a temperature of the trim strip body is within the melting point range such that the bottom surface of the trim strip body contacts the portion of the backing paper. As the trim strip body cools to a temperature below the melting point range, the portion of the backing paper bonds to the bottom surface of the trim strip body.
Structure cladding trim components and methods for fabrication and use of same
A cladding kit is provided for a structure cladding, the structure cladding comprising a first panel that extends away from a structure location along a first surface portion of the structure and a second panel that extends away from the structure location along a second surface portion of the structure. The cladding kit comprises a base piece couplable to the structure at the structure location, the base piece comprising a base connector, and a trim piece comprising first and second wings and a trim connector shaped to make a connection with the base connector to thereby couple the trim piece to the base piece. The first wing is shaped to contact, and be deformed by, the first panel when a connection is made. The second wing is shaped to contact, and be deformed by, the second panel when the connection is made.
System, method and apparatus for corner siding
A corner siding product may include a plurality of panels. Each panel may include a front face with a simulated pattern, a hollow back, a longitudinal length extending in an x-direction, a lateral width extending in a y-direction, and a depth extending in a z-direction. In addition, the corner siding product may include a living hinge extending in the y-direction between the panels along side edges thereof. The corner siding product can have an uninstalled configuration wherein it is substantially planar. Embodiments of the corner siding product also can have an installed configuration wherein the living hinge permits the panels to be non-planar relative to each other, such that they are complementary in shape to a corner of a building.
CONCRETE WALL WITH DECORATIVE SURFACE AND METHOD OF FORMING SAME
A concrete wall has a back surface supported by a back panel while a decorative material is applied to an opposing front surface of the wall by hand or by pneumatic projection while the surface is still plastic, and without using bonding agents. The decorative material may be further exposed by a surface treatment before or after the front surface is floated and finished, with a sealant optionally applied thereafter. The front surface may be created by pneumatic methods or by pouring concrete into forms and removing the front panel to expose the front surface while it is still plastic but hydrated enough not to slump.
Veneer panel and veneer corner with mounting systems
The invention provides a veneer panel for use on a surface of a building. The veneer panel can be fabricated with a mounting system that includes a frame and/or a backing for efficient installation on a building surface, as well as a mounting strip or mating connector that can be installed on a building surface to further support the veneer panel.
