Tile system
A tile system comprises at least two tiles and at least one elongate support. Each tile is generally rectangular in shape and has a first edge, and a second edge, the second edge being generally opposite the first edge. Each elongate support has an attachment portion and a support portion. Proximate the first edge each tile is provided with a groove, the groove being configured to receive the support portion of one of the elongate supports and a portion of an adjacent tile proximate its second edge.
Adjustable support system for a building structure and a wall structure having an adjustable support system
An adjustable support system has a base bracket member, a clip member, and an outer bracket. The base bracket member has a first end wall that overlays a substrate, a body wall extending outwardly therefrom and a second end wall opposite the first end wall. The clip member has a base bracket member coupling, and a projecting arm. The base bracket member coupling is attached to the first end wall and overlies a portion of the body wall. The projecting arm is spaceable apart from the body wall. The outer bracket has a spanning wall with inner and outer sides. An outer end wall extends from the outer side. The spanning wall is slidably positionable between the body wall of the base bracket member and the at least one clip member, to sandwich the same. Wall assemblies and methods are likewise disclosed.
BATTEN FIXING CLIP AND A METHOD OF FIXING THE CLIP
A batten fixing clip, comprising: a male connector comprising a batten interface portion for attachment to a batten, and a female connector interface portion for engaging a female connector; and a female connector comprising a support structure interface portion for attaching to a support structure and a male connector interface portion for engaging the male connector, the male connector interface portion including a retainer and a resilient clip comprising of an aperture, wherein the aperture receives at least part of the female connector interface portion and the clip biases the female connector interface portion against the retainer when in use.
Adjustable cladding for mitigating wind-induced vibration of high-rise structures
A system, device and method for reducing wind-induced vibration using cladding includes one or more movable panels attached to an outer façade of a high-rise building, skyscraper or any other structure subject to wind-induced vibration.
WALL CLADDING, PANEL AND ASSEMBLY
Fire resistant lightweight cladding 10 comprising thin sheet material having an outer layer which is predominantly steel and a thicker inner layer which is predominantly aluminium, the inner layer being a supporting layer and the sheet material being formed into a panel of predetermined outline and used in a fire-resistant wall panel assembly comprising a substrate supporting outer cladding sheets in side by side relation, each cladding sheet being a composite of a relatively thin steel layer and a relatively thick aluminium layer, the sheets described herein have a steel outer layer which is about 4 mm thick and an aluminium layer is about 2 mm thick and panel density from 6 kg/m2 to 9 kg/m2. The panels were tested according to British Standard BS 8414-22015 (amdt 1) as modified by Australian 5113-2016 (amdt 1) and the specimen passes the classification criteria 5.4.4(b) which concerns the temperature differential from outer fireside and inside and 5.4.5(g) which concerns debris.
BUILDING MATERIAL ATTACHMENT DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND ASSOCIATED METHODS OF MANUFACTURE AND USE
Devices, systems, and associated methods for attaching materials (e.g., baffles, panels, etc.) to ceiling or side wall surfaces of a building and/or other substructure of a building are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the systems include a clip having outwardly facing pockets configured to operably engage opposing protrusions of a channel of a support beam. The system can further include a locking device pivotably coupled to the clip and movable between an unlocked position and a locked position in which a portion of the locking device is positioned between the pockets to prevent the clip from inadvertently disengaging from the channel.
Flexible, profile bar screen
A flexible, profile-bar-based screen is provided includes a flexible cord (e.g., a braided stainless-steel cable) that strings together several cross members (e.g., profile bars) in a pattern to create the screen. Flexible spacers ensure that the cross members remain generally parallel, while allowing the cord to flex in any direction. Each end of the cord includes a cap (e.g., nut, washer, tacking, etc., combinations thereof) to prevent edge cross members from falling off the cord.
ARCHITECTURAL MATERIALS HAVING INTEGRATED ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM
The present invention is generally directed to energy storage systems comprising manufactured architectural materials having electrical battery systems embedded therein. The manufactured materials are generally provided as architectural panels, such as panels useful for interior or exterior cladding for buildings, flooring, countertops, or stairs. The panels comprise at least one battery device or battery assembly that is over-formed by and/or bonded with the architectural material. In preferred embodiments, the panels are formed by flowing a viscous architectural material precursor around the battery device or assembly and curing the precursor so as to solidify the architectural material. The panels may be electrically connected in any number of various arrangements, which can be chosen based on the specific application for the energy storage system.
VENTILATED FACADE
A ventilated facade comprising horizontal rails (4) and covering pieces (3-3′) mounted on the horizontal rails by means of anchoring elements (5), either wires or plates, which hang from the rails through openings (13) that said rails have on a horizontal section (6) of the same.
