Wall sheathing system
11603666 · 2023-03-14 ·

A sheathed building uses corrugated hat-channel furring channels to attach metal panels to an underlying wall structure in a semi-floating manner. The corrugated furring channels are attached to backsides of the metal panels using high-bond-strength tape, and the corrugated furring channels are “hooked” onto corrugated flanges of rail brackets that have been attached to the wall structure to secure the metal panels to the building. Using tape instead of conventional fasteners (e.g., screws or nails) reduces penetrations through the panels and reduces moisture behind the panels. The corrugations facilitate drainage of moisture from behind the panels and drying air circulation. In other embodiments such as a clapboard arrangement of metal panels, rail brackets are not used, and the corrugated furring channels are used to mount the panels in overlapping fashion with no fasteners penetrating through the panels.

This application relates to the field of reveal architectural panels and a tool or clamp for assembly thereof. The apparatus and method replace prior art assembly methods and fasteners with adhesives and a dedicated particularly designed clamp to facilitate assembly. The frame members are modified to facilitate assembly with adhesive sealants and removal of mechanical fasteners.

Mounting system for architectural panels

The invention concerns a mounting system to support free-form architectural panels, in particular molded panels made from fiber composite materials such as concrete, resin, and gypsum. The mounting system comprises a socket which can be securely embedded in the panel during casting. The mounting system further comprises a ball joint which is clamped into the socket and allows for attachment of the panel to support structure.

FRAME FOR A WALL PANEL, WALL PANEL, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE

The present disclosure relates generally to siding, for example, suitable for covering a wall surface. The present disclosure relates more particularly to a frame for a wall panel. The frame includes a support strip extending in a lateral direction across the width of the wall panel and has first and second ends. The frame also includes a row of columns extending in a first direction from the support strip. Each column includes a proximal end attached to the support strip and a free distal end. The row of columns includes a first column disposed at a first end of the row of columns and laterally offset from the first end of the support strip, and a second column disposed at a second end of the row of columns and laterally offset from the second end of the support strip.

SOLAR BATTERY MODULE INSTALLATION STRUCTURE AND DWELLING

The present invention provides a solar cell module installation structure and a house that can reduce manufacturing cost and have good workability as compared with the related art.

A support member includes a rail part that extends substantially in a vertical direction and is longer than a length of the solar cell module. The solar cell module includes: a solar cell panel; and a frame member. The solar cell panel includes: a main body panel; a terminal box provided on a back surface of the main body panel; and a wiring part extending from the terminal box. The frame member includes: a holding recess; and a mounting part. The holding recess sandwiches a part of the main body panel and is in contact with a light receiving surface and the back surface of the main body panel. The mounting part is provided on a back surface of the main body panel and is attached to the rail part of the support member. The mounting part has a penetration part that passes through from an inside to an outside with reference to the terminal box when the light receiving surface is viewed from front. The wiring part passes through the penetration part.
