A disc valve, in particular a multi-way control valve, is provided which has a housing that has an inlet connection and an outlet connection as connections for a liquid and/or gaseous medium. The connections end in respectively different chambers of the housing, at least one valve disc, in particular a ceramic valve disc, which is provided with at least one first through-flow opening and is arranged rotatably mounted in the housing in order to fluidically connect and separate from each other the different chambers depending on its rotational position by means of the through-flow opening, and a control shaft, which is connected torque-proof to the valve disc in the housing. The disc valve is characterized in that the control shaft or the valve disc has a radial projection, and the housing has at least one rotation stop, which is located in the movement path of the radial projection.

Pre-fabricated construction panels

A pre-fabricated construction panel for use on an external surface and/or as part of a budding or construction is provided. The panel comprises at least a first layer which is at least partially provided from thermally insulating material having a first surface, the panel comprising at least a second layer, the at least second layer being provided from fiber cement board, the second layer having a second surface facing the first surface. The first surface is profiled having recessed surface zones and heightened surface zones, the first and second layers being connected one to the other at least along the heightened surface zones of the first, the recessed surface zones provides at least one interspace between the first and second surface. This at least one inter-space has at least two openings to the external of the panel for enabling air to flow into and out of the interspace towards the external of the panel. Less than 25% of the total surface of the first surface is connected to, e.g. adheres to, the second surface.

SELF-SPACING LAP SIDING PRODUCT
20220042319 · 2022-02-10 ·

A lap siding product with a unique shiplap joint that spaces abutting pieces of siding correctly from each other without installer measurements. The shiplap joint comprises a bottom element and a top element. A lap siding panel or board has a bottom element shiplap joint at one end, and a top elements shiplap joint at the other end. The corresponding ends of two lap siding panels or boards (i.e., one bottom element and one top element) together form the unique shiplap joint of the present invention. One or more drainage channels or grooves help re-direct water from the joint, and at least one of the channels or grooves also provides a visual element for proper spacing. An engineered “stop” on the underside of the top element also helps space the pieces of siding correctly, without requiring measurement during installation.

WALL MATERIAL AND WALL-MATERIAL BUILDING STRUCTURE

[Object] To provide a wall material and a wall-material building structure that are suitable for achieving high water resistance in the wall-material building structure.

[Solution] A wall material X of the present invention has a surface-side joint portion 10 and a rear-side joint portion 20. A first resin film 31 is provided on at least one of an end surface 11a of the surface-side joint portion 10 and an end surface 21 of the rear-side joint portion 20. A second resin film 32 is provided on at least one of an extension surface 11b and an extension surface 22b. At a splice part where the surface-side joint portion 10 of one wall material X and the rear-side joint portion 20 of another wall material X are spliced together in a first direction D1, the end surfaces 11a and 21 and the first resin film 31 are disposed such that the end surfaces 11a and 21 face each other while a gap between the end surfaces 11a and 21 is filled with at least the first resin film 31, and the extension surfaces 11b and 22b and the second resin film 32 are disposed such that the extension surfaces 11b and 22b face each other while a gap between the extension surfaces 11b and 22b is filled with at least the second resin film 32. A wall-material building structure Y of the present invention is formed by using such a wall material X.

Fiber cement cladding system

Disclosed herein is a fiber cement cladding system such as fiber cement shingles or shakes which can have the appearance of authentic wood. Each individual fiber cement shingle or shake comprises a textured surface having a depth of relief and a coating system disposed on the textured surface. The coating system may include a sealing agent, a basecoat, and a topcoat. In some embodiments, the basecoat is disposed on at least a portion of the sealing agent and the topcoat is disposed on at least a portion of the basecoat. In some embodiments, the basecoat comprises a DFT of 1 to 3 mils and the topcoat comprises a DFT of 0.05 to 2 mils. In some embodiments, the depth of relief of the textured surface of the fiber cement shingle is about 0.03″ to 0.085″.

Cladding element

A cladding element, for use in a building envelope, comprising a first face, a second face and a plurality of edges. One or more of the plurality of edges includes a mating feature configured to resist moisture passage between cladding elements when the cladding elements are installed on a wall or other structure.
