ANTI-SLIP FLOOR TILE ASSEMBLY WITH INLAID TILES AND METHOD OF MAKING AN ANTI-SLIP FLOOR TILE
A floor tile is disclosed that includes a metal frame, a backing plate, and a plurality of tiles assembled to the metal frame and the backing plate. The metal frame defines a plurality of openings, and has a thickness T. The openings are separated by a plurality of connected strips that are coated with an anti-slip coating. The backing plate is attached to a bottom side of the metal frame. The plurality of tiles are each assembled into one of the plurality of openings with the backing plate supporting the tiles. The tiles have a height H that is less than T and have a top surface that is recessed below the anti-slip coating on the connected strips.
ANTI-SLIP FLOOR TILE AND METHOD OF MAKING AN ANTI-SLIP FLOOR TILE
A floor tile is disclosed that comprises a plate having an anti-slip metal coating. The metal plate has an upper surface, a bottom surface and a plurality of edges provided on all sides of the metal plate that extend between the upper surface and the bottom surface. The anti-slip coating is applied to a central portion of the upper surface, wherein the anti-slip coating is not applied to the upper surface between the central portion and the plurality of edges. At least one recess is formed in the bottom surface that is adapted to receive a portion of an adhesive applied between the bottom surface and a floor. A method is also disclosed for making the anti-slip floor tile, wherein a metal plate is masked at a border provided around the edges of the plate and molten metal is sprayed on a central portion but not on the border.
ANTI-SLIP FLOOR TILE AND METHOD OF MAKING AN ANTI-SLIP FLOOR TILE
A method is disclosed for making a floor tile having ceramic tiles formed in situ in openings or recesses in the plate. A metal frame is embossed to form recesses in one embodiment. In another embodiment, openings are punched in the plate and a backing plate is attached to a bottom surface of the plate. A ceramic composition is poured into the plurality of openings up to a level that is below the upper surface of the metal frame and is cured to form a ceramic tile in situ in each of the plurality of openings. Surface features may be provided in the recesses or openings such as projections with a head portion that are embedded in the ceramic composition after curing.
Floorboards comprising a decorative edge part in a resilient surface layer
A set of essentially identical floorboards each including a front face and a rear face extending in the horizontal plane, a core, and a surface layer, a mechanical locking system is arranged at least at two opposite edges for connecting a floorboard with an adjacent floorboard in a horizontal and a vertical direction, said mechanical locking system being configured for connecting the floorboard with the adjacent floorboard by vertical folding, wherein one of said opposite edges is provided with a horizontally extending protrusion at an upper edge, and wherein said protrusion is configured to overlap a surface groove at an upper edge of the other of said opposite edges, such that two connected and adjacent floorboards have upper overlapping edges.
Anti-slip floortile
The present disclosure provides an anti-slip floor tile including a base layer, a decorative layer on the base layer, and a wear resistant layer on the decorative layer. The wear resistant layer includes a non-rigid or semi-rigid thermoplastic resin, and a plurality of first mineral particles uniformly distributed inside the thermoplastic resin. The present disclosure can improve the wear resistance of the anti-slip floor tile by dispersing the first mineral particles in the wear resistant layer.
ANTI-SLIP APPARATUS, TEMPLATE THEREFOR AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE THEREOF
The present invention provides an anti-slip apparatus. The apparatus forms a planar, layered member and includes a glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) layer, a first resin layer, an abrasive or anti-slip material layer, and a second, top resin layer. Also provided is a template apparatus arranged to enable the installation/application to a floor or surface of an anti-slip apparatus as herein described.
Tiles, floors, and methods and processes related thereto
Two-piece tiles and/or floors comprised of a plurality of such two-piece tiles. In other embodiments, methods and/or processes for manufacturing or assembling such two-piece tiles, and/or to methods of assembling floors comprised of such tiles.
Scuff resistant decorative surface coverings
The present invention is related to decorative surface coverings, in particular floor or wall coverings, comprising one or more layer(s) and a cured top-layer, combining excellent anti-slip properties and scuff resistance. The invention is further related to a method for the preparation of said surface coverings.
ANTI-SLIP FLOOR TILE FRAME WITH TILES AND METHOD OF MAKING AN ANTI-SLIP FLOOR TILE
A floor tile is disclosed that includes a metal framework that supports a plurality of tiles. The metal framework defines recesses having a depth D that are separated by ridges. The ridges are coated with an anti-slip coating. The tiles are each assembled into one of the recesses. The tiles have a height H that is less than D and a top surface that is recessed below the anti-slip coating on the ridges. Methods for making and installing the floor tile are disclosed that includes the steps of applying an anti-slip coating to an upper surface of a metal framework. Assembling a plurality of tiles into the recesses. An adhesive is applied between the tiles and the recesses to secure the tiles with the top surface of the tiles being recessed relative to the ridges. The floor tile is installed on a floor with an adhesive.
FLOORING COMPRISING A DECORATION PRINTED BY INK JET
Provided is a flooring comprising a multilayer structure comprising successively at least one wear layer, a decorative layer and a sublayer, wherein the decorative layer is in the form of a non-woven textile sheet impregnated with a binder and one of the faces of said non-woven textile sheet comprises a decoration printed with ink. The invention also provides a method for obtaining such flooring.
