A floor element for forming a floor covering, the floor element comprising a decorative layer comprising a ceramic material, an intermediate layer comprising a resin material, and a support layer arranged below the decorative layer, wherein the support layer comprises edges provided with coupling elements configured to realize a mechanical coupling with coupling elements of an adjacent floor element and wherein the resin material comprises a modulus of elasticity greater than 0.1 GPa, preferably greater than 0.5 GPa, even more preferably greater than 1 GPa.

A split floor contains multiple bottom plates and multiple top plates. The multiple bottom plates are fixed on a ground, and multiple top plates connected on the multiple bottom plates. A top of a respective one bottom plate is a plane. A vertical joint system for substrates is formed with joints and which engaged by relative motion in a direction perpendicular to major surfaces and of the substrate. The joints are configured to enable relative rotation of up to 3 degrees while maintaining engagement of the joints. The joints and are further configured to form two locking planes one on each of the inner and outer most sides of the joint. Engagement about the locking planes is provided by transverse outward extending surfaces. At least one surface in each pair of engaging surfaces is smoothly curved. The joints and can be further arranged to provide a third locking plane parallel to and between the locking planes. The joints are disengaged by combination of a downward rotation of one joint relative the other then application of a downward force.

The invention relates to a multi-layer element which can be illuminated with edge lighting and optionally also with backlighting, an which has a stone-like appearance. Alongside the stone layer, layers made of a thermoplastic material are also provided. The structure is not only an attractive design element with day/night design for building interiors and facade construction, but it can also be used in many ways in the automotive sector.

What is described as a multilayer body which can be illuminated by means of edge lighting and optionally also by backlighting, and which has a stone look. As well as the stone layer, layers of thermoplastic material are provided, with a translucent dark-colored layer provided on the reverse side with respect to the stone layer. The structure is a pleasing design element with day/night design not just in the configuration of building interiors and facades, but can also be used in a versatile manner in the automotive sector.

The invention relates to a support tile for a tiled terrace, which support tile includes a body with a rectangular base surface, a top surface parallel to the base surface and a peripheral wall extending along the circumference of the base surface and between the base surface and the top surface, and support flanges extending from the peripheral wall and extending parallel to the top surface. The support flanges are arranged at either of two different distances from the top surface, such that the support flanges of adjacent support tiles can slide interlocking in a direction parallel to the top surface and provide a support in a direction perpendicular to the top surface.

A support for installing facing materials such as ceramic tiles on a substrate, such as, floors, walls and ceilings. The support plate has a plurality of spaced apart raised portions and recesses in the plate material, and a plurality of openings extending through the top surface and bottom surface of the plate material. The openings exposing a mat layer attached to the bottom of the support plate. Support plates of the invention are used for tile installations between a substrate and tile. Thin-set mortar that is used to secure the tile to the support plate flows into the recesses and into the openings forming a continuous bond between the mortar, openings and mat layer to provide a strong bond between the support plate, mortar and the tiles.
