SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SEAMS IN RESILIENT SURFACE COVERING
Included are methods for sealing seams of resilient surface covering including the application of a curable composition at a seam and applying radiation to the curable composition. The radiation may be any suitable source such as UV or visible light.
RESILIENT FLOORING PRODUCT AND METHODS OF MAKING SAME
Described herein are resilient floor coverings produced by using digitally printed UV-cured inks and exhibiting high adhesion properties between an ink layer and a wear layer. Also described herein are methods for manufacturing same. This abstract is intended as a scanning tool for purposes of searching in the particular art and is not intended to be limiting of the present invention.
Magnetic flooring system adhesive composition
A liquid adhesive coating composition that cures into a solid form, used to non-permanently adhere interior floor or wall coverings to substrate floor or wall surfaces respectively, includes a polymer incorporating iron or other paramagnetic, superparamagnetic, ferromagnetic, or ferrimagnetic ingredients, that becomes permanently adhered to the substrate as it cures, and thereafter provides a low-tack adhesive surface that is also magnetically attractive, upon which magnetized floor or wall coverings including certain types of carpet, linoleum, vinyl, wallpaper, and other types of magnetically-backed coverings can be subsequently installed. The combined low-tack adhesive and magnetic adhesion qualities of the cured composition of the invention allow for the magnetically-backed floor or wall coverings to be sufficiently well adhered to the surface of the cured adhesive composition to remain in place during normal usage while retaining the ability for the coverings to be subsequently removed, repositioned or replaced without damaging the respective coverings, adhesive coating composition layer, or substrate.
Multi-layered sheet suitable as floor or wall covering exhibiting a three-dimensional relief and a decorative image
The present invention relates to a multi-layered sheet suitable as floor or wall covering exhibiting a three-dimensional surface relief and a decorative image, comprising: i. a support layer having an upper surface and a lower surface; ii. a foamed layer having an upper surface and a lower surface, the lower surface of the foamed layer provided adjacent, and adherent to the upper surface of the support layer, the upper surface of the foamed layer comprising a discontinuous chemically embossed relief pattern, wherein the discontinuous chemically embossed relief pattern comprises indentations formed by single or stacked dots of a digitally printed material comprising a foam inhibiting agent; and optionally iii. a decorative layer adhered to the upper surface of the foamed layer; and optionally iv. at least one wear resistant layer provided adjacent and adhered to the decorative layer; and optionally v. a backing layer provided adjacent and adhered to the lower surface of the support layer.
Thermoplastic Simulated Tile
A multilayer thermoplastic sheet, comprising a first colored thermoplastic layer; a second colored thermoplastic layer; and a third colored thermoplastic layer; wherein at least one of the colored layers is a different color than at least one of the other two colored layers; and a multilayer thermoplastic sheet, wherein the sheet has a total thickness of from about 0.125 inches to about 0.500 inches, and a plurality of lines cut into the surface at depth of from about 0.010 inches to about 0.080 inches. Lines may be cut into a multilayer thermoplastic sheet via computer numerical control (CNC) routing to simulate ceramic tile.
Anti-Slip, Noise Reducing Pad Directly Applied And Adhered To The Back of Flooring Materials and Method
Flooring material has an anti-slip, noise reducing pad directly self-adhered to a bottom surface. The pad is formed by applying a foamable PVC material is directly on the bottom surface of the flooring and heating the PVC material to foam the PVC material. The PVC material may then be cooled to form the pad with a definite formed shape having a resilient outer surface layer and a spongy foamy inner structure.

Method for Forming a Multilayer PVC Sheet Material with a Foamed Carrier
The present invention relates to a method for forming a multilayer plastic sheet material for floor and/or wall panels, wherein a first polymer mass comprising a chemically foamed PVC is melted under pressure and is forced through an extruder head at a well-defined discharge rate as a plastic strand in sheet form that is provided with one or more layers so that a multilayer plastic strand is formed, which is propelled towards two or more rolls of a rolling mill, which processes the multilayer plastic strand to a sheet of a defined thickness and where one of the rolls will apply a three-dimensional structure in the top layer. This sheet will then be led away by a discharge device to a sawing device to be cut off to the desired length and width and finally, in a subsequent production step, as multilayer plank-shaped elements, will be provided with coupling parts on two opposite edges so that several of said plank-shaped elements are couplable together.
