Coextruded, crosslinked polyolefin foam with KEE cap layers
The present disclosure is directed to a physically crosslinked, closed cell continuous multilayer foam structure comprising at least one foam polypropylene/polyethylene layer with a KEE cap layer. The multilayer foam structure can be obtained by coextruding a multilayer structure comprising at least one foam layer composition layer with at least one cap layer composition layer, irradiating the coextruded structure with ionizing radiation, and continuously foaming the irradiated structure.
Decorative Panel and Method of Manufacturing a Decorative Panel
The invention relates to a decorative panel, in particular a floor panel, ceiling panel or wall panel, and to a method for manufacturing such decorative panel. The panel according to the present invention comprises includes at least one foamed layer comprising including an upper side and a lower side, and at least one decorative solid layer either directly or indirectly, affixed on said upper side of the foamed layer, wherein both the foamed layer and the decorative solid layer are wood based materials. The invention also relates to a floor covering consisting of a plurality of such panels.
Panel and method of producing a panel
The invention relates to a panel for constructing a floor or wall covering. The panel comprises a substantially planar top surface, at least one core layer composed of a composite material which core layer is provided with the cavities, and a bottom surface. The panel further comprises at least one pair of opposite edges, said pair of opposite edges preferably comprising complementary coupling parts configured for mutual coupling of adjacent panels.
Floor tile including fabric material and manufacturing method thereof
The present invention relates to: a floor tile including a fabric material, and comprising a balancing layer, a noise prevention layer, a functional sheet layer, a fabric material layer, and a surface coating layer; and a manufacturing method thereof and more specifically to a floor tile including a fabric material and a manufacturing method thereof, the floor tile being a functional tile having a natural texture and a three-dimensional effect possessed by the fabric material, having excellent durability, preventing delamination of the fabric material layer, exhibiting excellent mechanical properties such as tensile strength, and enhancing cleaning facilitation.
TILE-TYPE DECORATIVE FLOORING MATERIAL COMPRISING NON-SLIP FOAM, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
A tile-type decorative flooring material includes a surface-processed layer, a clear layer, a design-print layer, an underlayer, and a micro-embossed plastic foam part having a plastic foam layer and an adhesive film layer with micro-embossing. The flooring material provides a significant improvement in terms of slippage between the product and the floor surface in a construction process not using an adhesive.
ARTIFICIAL FLOOR
The present disclosure provides an artificial floor. The artificial floor comprises a plate body with a pad portion on a surface thereof. The pad portion contacts with a subfloor when the plate body is disposed on the subfloor. The plate body could be various kinds of the simulated floor such as linen, wood, or stone. The simulated floor is poor in wear resistance. The vibration or shaking during transportation may cause wearing between the simulated floors so as to damage the surfaces of the simulated floors. The subfloor may have an uneven surface, which may affect the surface flatness of the plate body disposed on the subfloor. Therefore, the pad portion of the plate body could be used as a cushion for the transportation process to protect the collision and wearing between the plate bodies. The pad portion could also be deformed locally to close the surface of the subfloor.
Panel and Method of Producing a Panel
The invention relates to a belt roller system for applying a surface structure in a floor panel or wall panel, said system comprising at least one upper endless belt and at least one lower endless belt, wherein each belt is rotatable around at least two pulleys, and at least one drive unit for rotating the upper endless belt and/or the lower endless belt. At least part of the upper endless belt comprises a surface structure and/or at least part of the lower endless belt comprises a surface structure. The upper endless belt and the lower endless belt are positioned substantially parallel to each other such that a panel can be transported between the upper endless belt and the lower endless belt such that the surface structure of the upper endless belt and/or the surface structure of the lower endless belt is transferred into the panel upon transport of the panel between said upper endless belt and said lower endless belt.
ACOUSTIC WAVE TRANSFORMATION AND ATTENUATION MEMBRANE
An Methods and apparatuses for reducing the transmission of unwanted sound and vibration energy generated by dynamic and/or impact loads through floors in multi-story buildings. This may be accomplished using an acoustic wave transformation and attenuation sound proofing membrane including an acoustic wave transformation layer, an acoustic absorption layer, and a constrained vibration damping layer. The acoustic wave transformation layer may be capable of transforming acoustic waves in a manner that may easily be attenuated by the acoustic absorption and constrained vibration damping layers. The sound proofing membrane may be used with several different combinations of floor coverings, adhesives, and subfloors. Impact acoustical tests have demonstrated that the sound proofing membrane can achieve higher IIC and MC ratings compared to conventional acoustic underlayments and/or membranes and, thus, prevent unwanted dynamic and/or impact loads from disturbing occupants in rooms beneath the floor assembly.
FIBERGLASS INSULATION BACKED SOUND MAT
An acoustic isolation mat is provided for placement between a subfloor and a finished floor. The acoustic isolation mat has a first layer placed directly upon the subfloor that includes a fiberglass-containing acoustic insulation, a second layer placed directly upon the first layer that includes an entangled polymer, and a third layer placed directly upon the second layer and below the finished floor that has a sheet of fibrous material.
Composite tile, connection piece, system to be laid, and method for the production of a composite tile
The invention relates to a composite tile for an installation system, more particularly for the production of a floor covering or wall covering, comprising a tile of a floor covering or wall covering and a backing disposed on the lay-on face of the tile. The invention also relates to a connecting element for the connection of two composite tiles and to an installation system composed of composite tiles and also to a method for the fabrication of a composite tile. The backing consists of a fiber composite material, more particularly fiber cement.
