ROOM MODULES FOR BUILDINGS
The invention relates to a room cell for use in the modular construction of buildings, which comprises a base plate and side walls enclosing a usable interior space, wherein the load-bearing components of some and preferably all side walls are formed by panels of cross-laminated timber, wherein the room cell comprises a duct for accommodating cables and pipes passing through the room cell from top to bottom, wherein the duct is confined on its bottom by a duct floor or on its top by a duct ceiling, and wherein the duct floor or the duct ceiling comprise a step projecting upwards or downwards, respectively, into the duct.
Electrical wiring structure with connection points arranged on side walls and building construction method
Disclosed herein are an electrical wiring structure with connection points arranged on side walls and a building construction method, which can improve convenience of electrical wiring construction and reduce electrical wiring materials. The electrical wiring structure includes a first power wire drawn out of a distribution box and disposed through a first conduit embedded in a concrete-made bottom base of an indoor space, a first joint box embedded at a predetermined height in a first side wall formed in the indoor space and electrically connected to the first power wire, a first light wire electrically connected to the first joint box, and a second joint box embedded at a predetermined height in a second side wall formed in the indoor space and electrically connected to the first joint box by a second power wire disposed through a second conduit embedded in the bottom base of the indoor space.
Hole protector device for mechanical, plumbing, and electrical (MPE) systems
A building is constructed by providing a subfloor and forming a hole in the subfloor. A hole protector includes a cylinder, a skirt disposed around the cylinder, and a cap disposed on the cylinder. The hole protector is disposed over the hole with the cylinder extending into the hole. The hole protector is fastened to the subfloor. The cap is removed from the hole protector. An MPE is disposed through the cylinder.
Building Designs and Heating and Cooling Systems
Building heating and/or cooling methods are provided that can include: distributing fluid from within conduits within a concrete floor of a building to conduits within grounds surrounding and/or supporting the building; diverting at least some of the fluid exiting the conduits within the grounds surrounding and/or supporting the building to a dehumidifier operably associated with the interior of the building; and returning the at least some of the fluid from the dehumidifier to the conduits within the grounds surrounding and/or supporting the building.

Stand structure for a double-layer elevated floor
The present invention provides a stand structure for a double-layer elevated floor, comprising: a stand, a T-shaped seat, a supporting block and a base plate. The stand is provided on a ground and has a hollow sleeve. The T-shaped seat includes a supporting plate and a screw formed below the supporting plate, where the screw is movably combined with a nut, such that when the screw is placed in the hollow sleeve, the T-shaped seat is adjusted by the nut to be at an upper position or a lower position on the stand. The supporting block is provided above the supporting plate. The base plate provided above the supporting block. A fixing seat is respectively provided at each corner of the base plate. Each fixing seat is used for accommodating and fixing one of supporting stands of plurality of elevated floor units.
CONSTRUCTION ELEMENT, A MODULE AND A CONSTRUCTION COMPRISING SUCH AN ELEMENT AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLY OF SUCH A CONSTRUCTION
The invention relates to a construction element for attachment of structural elements. The element comprises an upper plate member and a lower plate member, having a same width and a same length and extending between two end portions, parallel to each other at a first distance. The upper and lower plate members are connected to each other along longitudinal sides of said plate members by means of a plurality of intermediate beams. Each end portion further comprises at least one upper and at least one lower distance element having a width and a height, and being arranged at an upper surface and a lower surface of said end portions respectively. A longitudinally transversal cross section of each end portion forms a cross-shaped circumference, said circumference comprising four right angled abutment surfaces, defined by the plate members and the distance elements. The invention also relates to a module and a construction comprising such a construction element and a method of assembly of such a construction.
