Wall structure with horizontal base stud
A wall structure having a horizontal base stud, which wall structure has an upper wall panel, and a horizontal base stud, wherein the base stud has openings to allow for liquids to escape in the event of a plumbing leak, and additional openings to allow for air flow from the exterior to the interior of the wall structure.
Magnetic Building Trim System
A building trim system includes one or more trim members and one or more second magnetically attractive members. The magnetically attractive members are secured to a building structure, usually outside building siding. The trim members include a rear side with first magnetically attractive members attractive to the second magnetically attractive members. The trim members are attached to the building structure via magnetic forces of attraction between the first magnetically attractive members and second magnetically attractive members. The first magnetically attractive members may be magnets and the second magnetically attractive members may be pieces of metal or vice versa.
MOLDING COMPONENTS, INCLUDING PLINTHS AND CORNER PIECES, KITS, AND SYSTEMS COMPRISING THE SAME, METHODS OF MAKING THEM AND METHODS OF ASSEMBLING THEM
The present invention provides molding components, including plinths and corner pieces. Also, kits comprising combinations of molding components selected from among plinths, molding pieces, corner pieces and header pieces. Also, systems comprising combinations of molding components selected from among plinths, molding pieces, corner pieces and header pieces. Also, methods of making plinths, corner pieces, kits, systems and other combinations of components, and methods of assembling systems comprising combinations of components.
BASEBOARD CORNER
A baseboard corner and a method of use thereof for joining adjacent baseboard pieces at the corner of wall surfaces. The baseboard corner includes a trim member and a base member which is integral to the trim member. The trim member can flush mount with the intersection wall surfaces and surfaces of the adjacent baseboard pieces. The base member forms a left bracket and a right bracket for receiving the adjacent baseboard pieces. The baseboard corner eliminates the need for making mitered joints at the intersection of walls.

Integrated door framing system
An integrated door framing system is provided including a first L-shaped piece and a second L-shaped piece which can be assembled to form a U-shaped body that fits over a wall edge facing a wall opening formed for installing a door or window therewithin. The U-shaped body provides a complete, integrated door frame, casing, and molding assembly using a reduced and easy-to-assemble set of parts.
Window trim system
A first section is in facing contact with an exterior surface of a building. A second section is bent to extend exteriorly from the exterior surface at 90 degrees from the first section. A third section is bent at 90 degrees from the second section. A fourth section is bent at 180 degrees from the third section. A portion of the fourth section is in facing contact with the third section. A fifth section extends laterally and interiorly from the fourth section at an acute angle. A sixth section extends laterally from the fifth section parallel with the first and third and fourth sections. A seventh section is bent to extend interiorly at 90 degrees from the sixth section.
Shoe moulding to finish interior doorway
A doorway shoe moulding kit includes shoe moulding pieces that are designed to provide a finished interface between standard interior doorways and flooring in a manner that is aesthetically pleasing and functional. A kit includes pieces that are contour-matched to standard doorway casings, that abut with standard shoe mouldings and that are well fitted to cover the standard door jamb. The doorway shoe moulding kit can be easily adapted to suit a variety of doorway sizes and configurations and it may be tapered to ensure the moulding does not interfere with the operation of a door. The doorway shoe moulding may be easily filed, sanded or cut to best fit it to a doorway, it shall be easily and quickly attached to the doorway, and it shall be readily painted or finished to suit the user.
SHOE MOLDING WITH CASING JUNCTION
Shoe molding for use with a door casing having a face with a given contour. The shoe molding includes a body extending from a free end to junction end, the body having a profile with a wall edge and a floor edge and a face extending between the edges. A junction cavity is defined in the junction end of the body extending in from the wall edge. The junction cavity defines an interior surface having a configuration which complements the given contour.
