An accessible passageway assembly is assembled by a plurality of railing units, a plurality of columns, a plurality of step plates and slope guide plates; specifically, the plurality of railing units are spaced by columns to form inner fences and outer fences of the passageway. A support bar is positioned between the lower end of columns of the inner fences and the lower end of columns of the outer fences. A platen is disposed above the support bar. The rear and front end of the support bar and the platen include an extending tongue piece respectively for fast snap-fit of the step plate and the slope guide plate of the passageway. The connection part of the railing unit and the column can be a movable hinge, such that the angle of the railing unit can be adjusted according to the passageway height difference and change, such that the accessible passageway can be quickly assembled and disassembled indoors or outdoors.

A stair transport device (1) having a planar top platform (2), two legs (3) connected to a front end (17) on each side (20) and a cross bar (4) with T-ends (23) connecting the two legs. Each leg has two sections (3a & 3b) slidably connected with apertures into which a pin can be inserted to adjust the height thereof. The back end (18) end of the top platform can be placed over a top stair of a plurality of stairs to provide a horizontal platform level with the guide wheels (10) of a gurney (8) for transport of medical patients and other items.

In one embodiment of the present disclosure, a handrail system for a ramp assembly, the handrail system includes first and second handrail posts oriented substantially perpendicular to a ground surface, a handrail portion having first and second ends extending between the first and second handrail posts, wherein the handrail portion is substantially parallel to a ramping surface ramping from a first elevation to a second elevation at a grade, and first and second interfaces at the first and second ends of the handrail portion for interfacing with the first and second handrail posts. In another embodiment of the present disclosure, an adaptor is configured for a handrail portion.

A platform interface includes a platform, a hanger, and a ramping section. The platform defines a slot. The hanger has a body with a first end and a second end, a flange outwardly extending from the body and having a flange lip, and a gap extending between the first end and the flange lip. The ramping section has a hook configured to engage the flange such that the platform supports the ramping section via the flange. The gap is sized to prevent rotation of the hanger relative to the platform when the first end of the hanger is engaged with the slot and the hook engages the flange.

A block-type modular ramp is to be provided in a place where a step or bump is formed. The block-type modular ramp includes block bodies arranged in a horizontal direction and stacked vertically to form a backbone, a fastening member for fastening the block bodies arranged in the horizontal direction to each other, a fixing pin for fixing the block bodies stacked vertically to each other, a fixing member coupled to the block bodies and fixing the block bodies to a floor surface where to install the ramp, fastening grooves formed in the block bodies, and fixing holes formed in the block bodies in an up-down direction.

The present embodiments provide an aviary, a walkway for an aviary, and a walkway system for an aviary. The walkway includes a ramp and at least one support disposed below the ramp.

A foldable wheelchair ramp with high stability comprises a wheelchair board which is composed of a left access board and a right access board, the left and right access boards being hinged by a plurality of hinge devices; the left access board is composed of a plurality of left folding boards; the right access board is composed of a plurality of right folding boards; the left folding boards are hinged by the folding devices, and the right folding boards are hinged by the folding devices; the folding devices are connected with the matching supporting devices; the left folding board and the right folding board are both provided with an attachment board at the frontmost end. The present invention can ensure the strength of the wheelchair ramp when in use, and the stability of the wheelchair when passing through the wheelchair ramp.

A modular system including a surface-defining assembly having a plurality of panels. Each panel includes a plate portion, a first connector disposed towards and extending along a first side of the plate portion, and a second connector disposed towards and extending along a second side of the plate portion. The first and second connectors of adjacent panels are configured to engage one another to thereby engage the plurality of panels with one another in side-by-side relation such that the plate portions cooperate to define a continuous surface of the surface-defining assembly.

The horizontal portion may be supported by a lip of a structure, and may have a width equivalent to a length of the lip. The vertical portion may be coupled with, and hang downward from, the horizontal portion, and may have the same width as the horizontal portion. The hook may be coupled with the vertical portion, and may have the same width as the horizontal portion. The second component may include a protrusion and channel. The protrusion may have a width equal or less than the width of the horizontal portion, and be supported by the hook. The channel may be coupled with the protrusion, and have the same width. The channel may receive a planar component which forms a sloped surface of a ramp.
