PANEL FOR PRODUCING SELF-LOCKING FLOOR COVERING
The invention relates to a panel in the form of a strip or tile for producing of a floor covering, the panel comprising two pairs of opposite sides defining—two opposite edges for the assembly at an angle, of which one edge comprises male coupling means provided from a side wall of the panel, and an opposite edge comprises complementary female coupling means provided from a side wall of the panel; two opposite edges for vertical assembly, of which one edge comprises a male coupling means provide provided from a bottom face of the panel, and an opposite edge comprises complementary female coupling mead provided from a top face of the panel. According to the invention, the male coupling means of the edges for vertical assembly comprise two parallel groves that extend along the edge and open onto a lower face of the panel so as to define an inner male groove.
Panel
A panel having a core, a top side, a bottom side, and edge pairs provided on opposite panel edges. At least one first edge pair has complementary locking elements. One locking element is a locking groove on a groove side of the edge pair and the complementary locking element is a locking tongue on a tongue side of the edge pair. The locking tongue of a first panel can be placed against the locking groove of a second panel of the same kind when the first panel is tilted, and the two panels can be locked to one another interlockingly by a rotating joining movement of the panels relative to one another. The form fit counteracts moving apart of the locked panels specifically in a direction that lies in the plane of the locked panels and is simultaneously perpendicular to the locked panel edges. The locking tongue has, on a top side, a contact surface directed to the panel top side. The top groove wall has a touch surface designed so that when two panels are in the locked state, the touch surface is mated to the contact surface of the tongue top side. At the front of the locking tongue a rounding adjoins the contact surface so that the rounding forms a cross-sectionally round free end of the locking tongue so that a round transition to the tongue bottom side is created. The rounding of the locking tongue has a radius at least equal to the distal extent of the contact surface.
Panel element
A panel element may be provided for a covering. In particular, a panel element for a floor, wall or ceiling covering, which covering may be formed by a plurality of panel elements of the same kind which are connected to one another. Each panel element has a basic body having a defined total thickness and upper and a lower surfaces. The basic body has in each case differently contoured longitudinal sides and in each case differently contoured end faces. One longitudinal side has groove-like contouring and the other longitudinal side has tongue-like contouring corresponding thereto.
Floor panel for forming a floor covering
Floor panel, characterized in that it is of the type that can be installed according to the fold down-technique, that it comprises coupling means in one piece on all four edges, and that measures are taken in order to avoid an undesired shifting on the long edges during the turning down of the floor panel.
MECHANICAL LOCKING SYSTEM FOR FLOOR PANELS
Ceramic and stone tiles are shown, which are provided with a locking system including a separate strip part connected to vertical and horizontal grooves formed in the tile edge. A set of ceramic or stone tiles including a first tile provided with a first edge and a second tile provided with a second edge wherein the tiles are provided with a locking system for locking the first edge to the second edge in a horizontal direction parallel with a tile surface and in a vertical direction perpendicular to the horizontal direction, said locking system includes a first and a second tongue and a strip part provided with a first and a second locking element.
Mechanical locking of floor panels with vertical snap folding
Floor panels are shown, which are provided with a mechanical locking system on long and short edges allowing installation with vertical snap folding that could be accomplished automatically without tools and where the short edge locking system has a tongue made in one piece with the panel. The floor panels may have a first and a second connector at the long edges that are configured to obtain a minimum of friction facilitating a displacement, by a spring back force from the bending of a short edge locking strip, of a new panel in a horizontal direction along the long edge during the vertical snap folding action.
RELEASABLE JOINING SYSTEM FOR FLOOR PANELS, A FLOOR PANEL, A FLOOR SYSTEM, A METHOD FOR LAYING AND A METHOD FOR RELEASING A FLOOR PANEL
A joining system for floor panels comprising a female coupling formed in a first floor panel and a male coupling formed in a second floor panel, the female coupling comprising: a female coupling recess being arranged on a female coupling tongue protruding away from a main portion of the first panel towards the adjoining second floor panel, the female coupling recess being adapted to receive a male coupling tongue projecting from the adjoining second floor panel in a direction away from a main floor surface plane in which the floor panels are laid, the female coupling further comprises an upper guiding surface being located on a side of the female coupling recess on the first panel forming a guide for the male coupling tongue upon insertion thereof.
Decorative Panel, and Decorative Floor Covering Consisting of Said Panels
The invention relates to a panel, in particular a decorative panel, a floor panel, a ceiling panel or a wall panel. The invention also relates to a covering consisting of a plurality of mutually coupled panels according to the invention, in particular a floor covering consisting of a plurality of mutually coupled panels, according to the invention.
WALL OR CEILING PANEL AND WALL OR CEILING ASSEMBLY
A wall or ceiling panel, which, on one side edge, comprises a male coupling part and, on an opposite side edge, comprises a female coupling part. The male coupling part comprises a tongue and the female coupling part comprises a groove. The groove is bordered by a front lip and a rear lip, with the characteristic that the panel forms a ceiling-high wall panel and/or has a length of at least 2400 mm.
