Integrated form for embedding a waterstop in a keyed concrete joint
Disclosed herein is an article of manufacture that increases the efficiency of forming a building material having a keyed joint with a waterstop imbedded within the building material. The article allows the easy formation of a keyed joint between formed solid slabs (typically concrete) with a waterstop properly imbedded between the slabs.
Drain, Method for Installing a Drain, and a Kit of Parts for Installing a Drain
A drain has a cup with a fluid outlet to be connected to a conduit, wherein the cup accommodates a water trap. The cup has an axial channel along the circumference, the channel is open upwards and limited by a bottom, a channel wall and a cup wall. The drain further has a circumferential drain wall adapted to fit into the channel, whereby the drain wall is arranged axially movable in the channel, a casting framework arranged releasable around the outer circumference of the drain wall, the framework has a radial extension, and the drain wall has an outward radial flange at an upper end, the radial extension of the flange is equal or less than the radial extension of the framework. A method and a kit of parts for installing such a drain are also disclosed.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AN INDICATOR SYSTEM IN FIRESTOP PROTECTION SYSTEMS
A system includes a lead-sleeve coupled to a platform. The platform attaches to a sheet metal having alternating peaks and valleys, and the platform includes a block-out component that conforms to a valley of the sheet metal. The system also includes an indicator system coupled to a cap of the lead-sleeve, where the indicator system protrudes through the concrete after the concrete is poured and solidified around the lead-sleeve.

SLEEVE FOR CONCRETE SLAB PENETRATION
A sleeve for forming a channel through a concrete slab is described herein. The sleeve includes a sleeve body with top and bottom ends extending along a longitudinal axis, wherein the top end is wider than the bottom end. The sleeve includes an attachment flange attached to the bottom end that extends laterally outward with respect to the longitudinal axis. The attachment flange may be secured to a concrete form. An alternative sleeve has an attachment mechanism protruding from the first end of the sleeve body for facilitating the attachment of the sleeve body to a concrete form. In some embodiments, the sleeve can also include a removal mechanism disposed at the second end of the sleeve body to facilitate removal of the sleeve body from the concrete slab. Various sleeve configurations are described, some of which are reusable and some of which are one-time use only.
Core form device
A core form device including a circular plate and a plurality of bendable arms extending from the circular plate which when bent about the circular plate form the core form device.
Systems and methods for lifted foundation retention with locking cap
Systems and methods which provide for lifted foundation retention using foundation lift retainer assemblies having a locking cap configuration are described. A locking cap foundation retention system of embodiments may include a foundation lift interface assembly supporting operations to lift a foundation and a foundation lift retainer assembly having a locking cap configuration utilized in sustaining the foundation in a lifted position. A locking cap of embodiments is configured to accommodate operation of a removable lift mechanism lifting a foundation and thereafter for sustaining the foundation in the lifted position. A foundation lift interface may be configured to allow a foundation to move with respect to components of a foundation lift retainer assembly during a foundation lifting operation, whereby the locking cap of the foundation lift retainer assembly engages one or more components of the foundation lift interface to restrict movement of the foundation subsequent to the foundation lifting operation.
Concrete i-beam for bridge construction
A beam used for construction, particularly of short- to mid-span bridges. A beam can include flanges extending from a web that are joined to flanges of another beam. When joined two beams form an open internal void. The beams can be manufactured from concrete and include an embedded reinforcement cage. Manufacture of the beams utilizes a formwork that can be filled in a single pour.
Retaining wall
Void former assembly for casting facing elements for reinforced earth. Anchoring recesses are cast into its rear face so that earth-reinforcing strips can be looped through. The anchoring recesses are each formed as a loop channel having a convex inner surface and a concave outer surface, at least one of which has a radius of curvature which increases from the deepest part of the recess towards the rear face. A removable void former assembly and method for casting such facing elements are also described. Because of the varying radius of curvature of the surfaces of the channel, and the rotational and translational withdrawal path of the void formers, the channel can be cast deeper, and with openings which are closer together, than has hitherto been possible using removable void formers.
