Hinged Hawk Board
A hawk having a first board with an upper surface, an opposing lower surface, and an edge. A handle is attached to the lower surface of the first board, and a hinge is attached to the edge of the first board. A second board with an upper surface is also attached to the hinge. An angle between the first board and the second board can be set as desired by selectively rotating the hinge between the first board and the second board.

A drywall tool includes a mud pan and a grip tape layer affixed to the exterior of the mud pan. Other aspects are also described and claimed.
Drywall Compound Storage System
A drywall compound storage system includes a ladder that has a topmost step. A drywall hawk is provided and drywall compound is positioned thereon. A support is provided and the support is selectively positioned on the ladder. The drywall hawk is selectively positioned on the support such that the drywall hawk is retained in a horizontal orientation. In this way the support inhibit the drywall compound from sliding off of the drywall hawk when the drywall hawk is set on the support.
Compound holding device for retaining tools
A compound-holding device for use with a working material in one embodiment comprising a plate having a top and a bottom surface. A magnet for retaining tools is mounted on the bottom surface of the plate. In another embodiment of the invention, the handle is hollow and a magnet is placed inside the handle for retaining elongated tools such as screwdrivers within the handle. Other retaining means are threading, a clip or a locking pin system. In another embodiment a pan is disclosed having a bottom surface and sides extending upwardly and outwardly therefrom. Magnets for retaining tools are mounted on the sides of the pan for holding tools. A magnet-free zone enables holding by hand without interference of protruding magnets.
