PORTABLE HOT SWAGED COUPLING DEVICE FOR CONNECTING ARTICLES
A method of spicing together and joining ends of a first member and a second member includes the steps of: arranging the ends of the first member and the second member in side-by-side manner; placing a coupling sleeve over the ends of the first member and the second member; and using a portable, hot-swaged coupling device to heat and crimp the coupling sleeve about the ends of the first and second member, thereby joining the ends of the first and second members.
Apparatus for tying wire around one or more objects
An apparatus for tying a wire around one or more objects, such as concrete reinforcing includes a wire feed roller configured to pass a wire around the objects to form a loop, a wire twister configured to twist the sides of the loop together, and a guiding surface arranged to deflect the wire as it is being twisted so that the ends of the wire finish pointing at least partially in the direction of the objects being tied.
BINDING MACHINE
A binding machine includes a wire feeding unit, a curl forming unit, a cutting unit, and a binding unit. The binding unit includes a locking member that includes a first hook and a second hook and that locks the wire by moving the first hook toward the second hook. The locking member includes a locking part that locks the wire in a state in which the first hook has been moved toward the second hook, and an unlocking part that makes it possible for the first hook to be movable away from the second hook with such an amount of movement that the locked wire does not come off between the first hook and the second hook.
BINDING MACHINE
A binding machine includes a wire feeding unit, a curl forming unit, a cutting unit, a binding unit, and a transmission unit that transmits movement of the binding unit to the cutting unit. The binding unit includes a locking member that locks a wire, a sleeve that actuates the locking member, and a rotary shaft that actuates the sleeve. The transmission unit includes a displacement member to be displaced by movement of the sleeve, and a transmission member that transmits movement of the displacement member to the cutting unit. The cutting unit includes a movable blade part connected to the transmission member. The displacement member switches an amount of movement of the movable blade part and a force that can be generated by the movable blade part, within a moving range of the movable blade part.
Rebar Joint Tie Tool
The present disclosure provides kits, apparatuses, adjustable tracks, systems, or processes for fastening elongate objects such as reinforcing bar (rebar) in place either to tack the elongate objects together for subsequent welding, or alternatively, as a final fastener when, for example, the elongate objects are subsequently to be embedded in a material such as concrete.
STRUCTURAL SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR ROCKWORK WITH MECHANICAL FASTENING OF ADJACENT CHIP ASSEMBLIES
Rebar-based support assemblies that can be fabricated without the need for on-site welding. The assemblies include a number of differing sized and shaped crimps used in place of welds to provide rebar assembly-to-rebar assembly connections. Each crimp mechanically couples two or three pieces of rebar together, such as a border bar of one rebar assembly to a border bar of an adjacent rebar assembly. Each crimp includes a body with two or more arcuate recessed surfaces each for receiving a piece of rebar. In a first configuration of the crimp, a pair of spaced-apart arms (or extending members) extend from the body and define an opening through which the rebar is passed and set into the recessed surfaces. A deformation force is applied upon the two arms to deform the body into a second configuration with the arms in abutting contact or nearly so at an outer tip or end.
BRAKE SYSTEM OF WIRE REEL IN REINFORCING BAR BINDING MACHINE
A reinforcing bar binding machine is provided with a feed means for feeding a wire from a wire reel rotatably mounted on a binding machine body, a braking means for braking a rotation of the wire reel, and a control means that starts a braking to the rotation of the wire reel by the braking means after the wire is fed to a predetermined amount by the feed means.
Clip applying apparatus
A clip applying apparatus is provided for connecting plastic clips to reinforcing bars. The clip applying apparatus will generally include a barrel, a hammer received in the barrel, and a main drive configured to reciprocate the hammer within the barrel. Other features may include a safety shield as well as a lockout lever which prevents proximal movement of the safety shield if a clip is not fully received within the barrel. Another feature which may be included is a clip door operably connected to a sliding-pivot channel defined in one of the barrel and the clip door. Still other features may include at least one guide slot disposed within the barrel to direct hammer movement, and a hammer bushing coaxial with the barrel to support the hammer.
REBAR TYING TOOL
A rebar tying tool configured to tie plural rebars using a wire is disclosed herein. The rebar tying tool may include a reel supporting mechanism configured to switch between a first state of detachably supporting a reel on which the wire is wound and a second state of undetachably supporting the reel; a wire feeding mechanism configured to feed the wire from the reel; and an openable cover that at least partially covers at least one of the reel supporting mechanism and the wire feeding mechanism. The reel supporting mechanism may switch from the first state to the second state by a user operation of closing the cover, and/or may switch from the second state to the first state by a user operation of opening the cover.
BINDING MACHINE
A reinforcing bar binding machine (1A) includes a magazine (2A) in which a wire (W) is housed, a curl guide unit (5A) that winds the wire (W) around a reinforcing bar (S), a wire feeding unit (3A) that feeds the wire (W), and a binding unit (7A) that twists crossing portions between one end and the other end of the wire (W) wound around the reinforcing bar (S). The wire feeding unit (3A) is configured such that a second displacement member (36) for displacing a second feed gear (30R) is located behind a second feed gear (30L) and provided between the second feed gear (30L) and a handle portion (11A).
