Modular Building Units, and Methods of Constructing and Transporting Same
A lower connector includes a lower connector hollow body, a pair of lower connector bosses coupled to the lower connector hollow body, and a pair of lower connector arms coupled to the lower connector bosses. A connector assembly includes an upper connector coupled to a lower connector and a gusset plate sandwiched between the upper and lower connectors.
APPARATUS FOR USE IN PULLING OR LIFTING AN OBJECT
An apparatus for use in lifting or pulling an object. The apparatus comprises a female part including a hole extending into the female part. The hole includes a first portion and a second portion, the first portion being narrower than the second portion. The apparatus further comprises a sleeve comprising a plurality of arms, at least one of which is flexible. The plurality of arms define a channel, the arms being configured for insertion into the hole in the female part such that distal portions of the arms are at least partially positioned in the second portion of the hole. The apparatus further comprises a male part, for insertion into the channel of the sleeve, comprising a distal stop.
CLIP, CEILING BASE, AND METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING SAME
A clip that fixes a ceiling joist intersecting a ceiling joist receiver to the ceiling joist receiver, includes: a top portion having a width of the ceiling joist receiver; a first hanging portion hanging down from one end of the top portion, and provided with, at a lower portion, first engaging projections extending left and right to engage the ceiling joist; and a second hanging portion hanging down from another end of the top portion, and provided with, at a lower portion, second engaging projections extending left and right to lock the ceiling joist. The first hanging portion has a length longer than that of the second hanging portion, and a recess extending in a direction toward the second hanging portion is provided at an intermediate position of the first hanging portion.

LIFTING PIN ANCHOR WITH ANNULAR PLATE
Al anchor is provided having a lifting pin, with a shaft, a head at an upper end of the shaft, and a foot at a lower end of the shaft, and the anchor further comprising an annular plate with an opening through the center, positioned with the shaft extending through the opening and the annular plate overlaying and supported by the foot. The annular plate has an area that is at least 80% of the area of a hypothetical circle circumscribing the annular plate.
ANCHOR
An anchor for embedment in a concrete body for lifting the concrete body, wherein the anchor includes a head having a lifting aperture for engagement with a lifting device, and a pair of legs adapted for embedment within the concrete body, wherein the head has an additional aperture having at least a portion of the additional aperture bordered by a border rib, wherein a lower edge of the head is provided with a cross rib which extends between the pair of legs, and wherein webbing extends between the border rib and the cross rib such that a cross-section along a longitudinal axis of the anchor between the cross rib and the border rib forms an I-beam.
Anchor and clutch assembly
Anchors, clutches, and lifting systems are described herein that increase the size of a shear cone within a precast concrete panel without using multiple clutches and without increasing the complexity of the lift system. A shear cone is the volume within the panel that the anchor and clutch pull on when orienting and positioning the precast concrete panel. Anchors described herein encompass a larger volume of the panel in different ways to produce a larger shear cone. Similarly, the clutches described herein have features that allow a clutch to accommodate the improved anchors. As a result, the anchors, clutches, and lifting systems provide a larger shear cone in the panel to increase the load capacity of the lifting system and reduce the likelihood of failure.
Lift anchor for precast concrete component
A precast concrete component is provided with anchor having a cylindrical rod bent to form a centrally-positioned handle and two downwardly extending legs. The handle can be relatively smooth and die legs are provided with a series of projections along their lengths, such as are formed by threads. The legs of the anchor may converge inwardly from the handle and are compatible with precast concrete double tees having webs or stems that taper from the flange of the double tee downward. Alternatively, the legs of the anchor may diverge outwardly from the handle.
Connector for a modular building
A connector assembly, having an upper connector, a pin coupling the upper connector to a lower connector and a gusset plate sandwiched between the upper and lower connectors. Also, disclosed is a hoistable connector assembly, a lifting frame assembly, a coupling system for modular frame units, a method for assembling a module unit using the connector assembly, and a modular frame unit and building having the connector assembly.
LOAD TRANSFERRING CONNECTING ELEMENT
The invention relates to a load-transferring connecting element (1) for establishing a connection between a first building element and a second building element. The load-transferring connecting element is adapted for transfer of forces between the two building elements. The load-transferring connecting element (1) comprises an elongated box-shaped main body (24), wherein a first end portion (3) of the load-transferring connecting element (1) is arranged for attachment into the first building element with a remaining second end portion (4) of the load-transferring connecting element (1) positioned so that it projects from the first building element. The second end portion (4) is adapted for being received in a cavity (13) arranged in the second building element, and is provided with an attachment area (5) for attaching lifting equipment (8) for handling the first building element.
