Devices, systems and methods relating to roof standing seam anchors
Systems, devices and methods, etc., comprising anchors configured to attach to standing seams such as those typically present on metal roofs. The systems, etc., provide benefits such as improved anchorage points for personal fall protection anchorage devices and variability of and security of attachment to the standing seams. The personal fall protection anchorage devices can comprise a retention plate configured to hold the personal fall protection device to a central portion of the retention plate and having at least two y-axis spaced-apart slot configured to immobily hold opposed standing seam graspers each comprising at least two opposed grasping elements sized and configured to immobily squeeze standing seams of the metal roof.

Standing seam mounting brackets
A standing seam mounting bracket and a method of using two or three to provide attachment points along a standing seam roof is provided. The standing seam mounting brackets enable complementary use of commonly-owned equipment for enabling roof maintenance and construction. The standing seam mounting brackets may be used in concert with roof jacks, roof ladders, scaffolding members and the like that are commonly owned by most contractors so as to facilitate safe and easy horizontal and vertical movement along the sloped roof.
Safety post
A safety device for securing a person to a floor panel of a shuttering system. A base element secures a safety post. The base element can be placed on a floor panel of a shuttering system. The safety post has a personal safety element, to which the person can be selectively secured. A securing mechanism has a securing carrier, on which at least one engaging element is arranged, wherein the securing carrier is coupled to the base element. The engaging element can be adjusted into a securing position and a release position, wherein the engaging element can be engaged with the shuttering system in the securing position in order to fix the base element to the floor panel, and wherein the engaging element can be decoupled from the shuttering system in the release position in order to decouple the base element from the floor panel.
Safety tie off device
A safety tie off device for use on roof or canopy structures includes a plate. The plate has a spacer bar and an anchor protruding substantially perpendicular to the plate. A locking assembly includes a knob or handle attached to a threaded rod, a locking plate, and a fastener connected to the locking plate. The device is configured to attach to a roof structure, thereby forming a detachable, stable safety tie off device for a user to anchor a safety harness.
SAFETY POST
The invention relates to a safety device (100) for securing a person to a floor panel (151) of a shuttering system (150). A base element (102) secures a safety post (101). The base element (102) can be placed on a floor panel (151) of a shuttering system (150). The safety post (101) has a personal safety element (103), to which the person can be selectively secured. A securing mechanism has a securing carrier (117), on which at least one engaging element (111) is arranged, wherein the securing carrier (117) is coupled to the base element (102). The engaging element (111) can be adjusted into a securing position and a release position, wherein the engaging element (111) can be engaged with the shuttering system (150) in the securing position in order to fix the base element (102) to the floor panel (151), and wherein the engaging element (111) can be decoupled from the shuttering system (150) in the release position in order to decouple the base element (102) from the floor panel (151).
Anchor Assembly
An anchor assembly, or mounting for an anchor assembly, particularly for a fall protection apparatus, has first and second mounting limbs connected to be rotatably mounted with respect to one another in order to rotate such that the limbs can be fixed in position at one of a variety of operational positions. The limbs have concentric engagement portions arranged to engage one another in order to permit rotation of the limbs about the rotation axis and inhibiting relative displacement of the limbs in a direction transverse to the rotational axis.
SAFTEY TIE OFF DEVICE
A safety tie off device for use on roof or canopy structures includes a plate. The plate has a spacer bar and an anchor protruding substantially perpendicular to the plate. A locking assembly includes a knob or handle attached to a threaded rod, a locking plate, and a fastener connected to the locking plate. The device is configured to attach to a roof structure, thereby forming a detachable, stable safety tie off device for a user to anchor a safety harness.
Standing seam roof panel anchor
A roofing anchor configured to be removably secured to a seam of a roofing panel includes a first segment having a first flange configured to contact a first side of the seam upon closing the roofing anchor, and a second segment opposing the first segment, the second segment having a second flange opposite the first flange, the second flange configured to contact a second side of the seam upon closing the roofing anchor. The roofing anchor also includes a hinge mechanism configured to open the roofing anchor to separate the first flange and the second flange by a distance greater than at least a top of the seam, and to close the roofing anchor to bring the first flange and the second flange in contact with the seam. The roofing anchor further includes a securing mechanism configured to apply a compressive force on the seam.
STANDING SEAM MOUNTING BRACKETS
A standing seam mounting bracket and a method of using two or three to provide attachment points along a standing seam roof is provided.
