ADJUSTABLE SHORING BEAM AND HOOK ASSEMBLY
20230001844 · 2023-01-05 ·

Disclosed herein is an adjustable shoring beam having a hook assembly configured to mate with E-track mating features. The adjustable shoring beam can be adjusted over a predetermined length range by adjusting the tube assembly and the rod assembly. In some embodiments, the extension length is fixed using a fixing clamp coupled to the tube assembly and the rod assembly. A connecting clamp and bracket may be used to couple a first adjustable shoring beam to a second adjustable shoring beam.

Climbing wall assemblies

The present disclosure is directed to climbing wall assemblies having a variety of improvements. For instance, the climbing wall assemblies may include connectors to attach the surface panels to the framework, in which the connectors may be mounted substantially anywhere along the front of the framework and at substantially any angle, providing for the securement of climbing panels in various geometries. The climbing wall assemblies may also include braces that may easily be adjusted to a desired length and configuration during construction of a climbing wall. The climbing wall assemblies may also include variable-angle, integral front posts, which provide for the easy and stable securement of climbing panels in various geometries. These improvements provide climbing wall assemblies that may be easily assembled to produce a desirable climbing wall structure having few framework components.

FAIL-SAFE RELEASE MECHANISM FOR USE WITH PATIENT POSITIONING SUPPORT APPARATI

A fail-safe release mechanism for use with patient positioning support apparati having a base structure and a patient support structure, to prevent collapse of the patient support during disconnection of the patient support structure from the base structure.

PUSH-PULL PROP
20230075809 · 2023-03-09 ·

A push-pull prop includes inner and outer tubes reversibly fixed to each other, a threaded bar screwed into a threaded portion of a first end of the inner tube, a fixing head including a coupling portion fixable to a first end of the outer tube and a locking portion rotationally connected to the coupling portion, so the outer tube can rotate with respect to the locking portion about a rotation axis to thread the inner tube on the threaded bar. The locking portion is rotationally connected to a first connecting element at a first surface so the prop can rotate about a first tilting axis perpendicular to the rotation axis. The threaded bar is rotationally connected to a second connecting element at a second surface, so the prop can rotate about a second tilting axis perpendicular to the rotation axis and parallel to the first tilting axis.

A clamp and universal wedge clamp system is provided. The system includes a rigid clamp that is formed to define first and second arms that extend from opposite ends of a central member. The first and second arms each comprise a finger that extends inwardly toward the finger extending inwardly from the opposite arm, and at least one of the first and second arms comprising a slot defined through the arm along a portion of a length of the arm. A wedge extends through the slot, wherein the clamp and the wedge are collectively configured to removably retain a beam upon either one of a substantially cylindrical shoring post, or a substantially rectangular shoring post.

Underground vault roof support

A shoring assembly for utility vaults. A crossbeam member is carried by a column member and a bracket is connected between the crossbeam member and the column member. The bracket supports the crossbeam member on the column member and comprises a jack member that is extendable upward to engage and move the crossbeam member upward relative to the column member into a support position against a vault roof to be shored.

Temporary Support and Raising Device

The support 10 of the present invention resembles a conventional Acrow prop which may be used for temporarily supporting a load. In particular, the present invention is arranged to support a surface at a static position. For example, the surface may comprise a ceiling/beam/lintel within a structure wherein the usual permanent supports for the ceiling/beam/lintel are being replaced or deemed temporarily insufficient. However, the present invention can be used in numerous situations where a support 10 is required and for which the support 10 can be quickly and easily installed. The present invention provides (hydraulic) movement means to move the upper end relative to the lower end. In addition, the present invention provides retraction prevention means to prevent the upper end moving towards the lower end whilst supporting the load and prevents the inner core member 14 being forcibly retracted back into the outer sleeve member 12 due to the compressive force of the load. A hydraulic ram 22 has a maximum extension limit and the present invention uses an adjustable mounting/abutment mechanism which means that a relatively small hydraulic ram 22 can be installed in the outer sleeve member 12. This size of hydraulic ram 22 will then be suitable for all heights and the support is not limited to simply being moveable within a restricted range.
