Inboard-Mounted Safety Latch Mechanism for Preventing a Walkway Platform Flip Door From Being Raised Without a Guardrail Installed
In an example, a system is described. The system includes a guardrail having a post, and the post having a post dog. The system also includes a latch eye configured to be coupled to a flip door. The system also comprises a safety latch mechanism configured to be coupled to a fixed structure and including a body, a socket configured to receive the post, and a door latch rotatably coupled to the body and biased in a latched position that is configured to engage with the latch eye and thereby retain the flip door in a lowered position. Based on the post being inserted into the socket of the safety latch mechanism, the post dog engages with and rotates the door latch from the latched position to an unlatched position, thereby allowing the flip door to be raised from the lowered position to a raised position.
Work Platforms and Methods of Use
A work platform configured to support one or more workers in proximity to a workpiece. The work platform includes sliders that are aligned along the length of the workpiece. The sliders are laterally movable towards and away from the workpiece. The sliders are individually movable with a position of each of the sliders relative to the workpiece being a function of the rotational position of the workpiece.
Adjustable Platform Extension Bracket For Work Platform Systems and Related Methods
An adjustable platform extension bracket for work platform systems comprises a post member having two posts joined by a plurality of positional structures. A first connection portion forms a first channel such that the first connection portion is symmetrical along an axis parallel with and passing through the channel. The post member is slidingly engaged in the first channel such that at least one of the positional structures is positionable in the channel. The bracket does not require any diagonal support. The dimensions of work platforms, particularly suspended work platform systems, may be extended using the adjustable platform extension bracket.
SUPPORT ELEMENT, SUPPORT STRUCTURE AND RELATED ASPECTS
Described herein is a support element that may be a cantilever arm and a support structure being formed from multiple support elements for example to form a platform. Methods of assembly and use are also described. In one aspect, a support element is described with an elongated shape, a distal end and a coupling end and a cantilever form, where the coupling end of the support element is configured to couple with a structural member, the support element further configured to rotate once coupled from an inclined or declined position to a substantially horizontal plane, the support element once rotated to a substantially horizontal plane, extending generally orthogonally away from the structural member to a termination point about the distal end of the support element.

Moveable edge scaffold
A scaffold apparatus has an upper horizontal structure of a first width, a vertical structure having a first and a second vertical member attached each at opposite ends of the first width of the upper horizontal structure, and a platform structure attached at a lowermost point to the vertical structure, extending away from the vertical structure in a direction opposite direction of the upper horizontal structure, such that the scaffold apparatus, viewed in side elevation, forms an L-shape. The upper horizontal structure lies flat on a surface at an upper edge of a walled space and extends the vertical structure downward into the walled space proximate a wall of the walled space, and the platform structure extends from a lower end of the vertical structure into the walled space, providing a support surface for a user to stand upon to perform maintenance on the wall proximate the vertical structure.
MAST CLIMBING WORK PLATFORM WITH TRANSLATING FUNCTION AND RELATED METHOD
In one or more embodiments a mast climbing work structure may be provided. The mast climbing work structure may include a base structure and a mast attached to the base structure and rising vertically from the base structure. The mast climbing work structure may further include a work platform attached to the mast. The work platform may have a deck a structural frame underneath the deck and at least one side platform connected to a side of the structural frame. The work platform may be configured to ascend and descend via the vertical mast and the side platform may be configured to raise vertically and translate alongside the side of the structural frame.

ELEVATED WORKER SUPPORT PLATFORM WITH EXTENSION ASSEMBLY
An elevated worker support platform includes a main platform and an extension assembly having a longitudinal sliding extension frame and an upwardly folding extension platform supported on the extension frame to provide a rigid underlying support to the extension platform while also enabling the platform to be supported at the same elevational as the main platform. A railing for use alongside the extension assembly may also be formed of rigid sections that are foldable so that the railing can extend and retract with the extension platform. The main platform may be formed in sections spanning between upright columns in which cradles formed on the top of each column receive the platform section securely and in proper alignment therein until fasteners can more securely attach the platform sections to the columns.
