A PUBLIC SERVICE CABINET WITH MODULAR EXPANSION FACILITY FOR A STREET MAST
A public service cabinet includes a foundation support, a connection frame, and housing parts that delimit internal spaces for receiving electrical and/or communication/control equipment. The foundation support includes a first street mast module of which an upper end is configured to be connectable to a lower end of a second street mast module of a modular street mast. The connection frame is releasably connected to the first street mast module, and the housing parts extend to a height that lies above a height to which the first street mast module extends such that at least an upper portion of the first street mast module is surrounded by the housing parts. A removable first-type cover is provided that is configured to shield of an upper side of the cabinet including the upper end of the first street mast module.
Smart city modules and system
The present invention relates to a system to provide a smart city platform for urban areas by utilizing module units that contain multiple types of technology and equipment. A smart city platform is created with a multiplicity of module units installed throughout a cityscape. The module units house various equipment, such as various antennas, cables, brackets and other equipment, to enable smart city connectivity and services and may be additionally fitted with service station units to provide extra capabilities and services to communities.
Module for a cellular communications monopole
A module for a base station monopole has a wall defining an interior space. The wall includes an opening configured to receive electronic equipment and a vent opening in communication with the exterior of the module. A reinforcement member is secured to the wall and is positioned opposite to the opening and adjacent the vent opening. A baffle is supported adjacent the wall where the baffle has an intake opening and an exhaust opening in communication with the vent opening. The intake opening is laterally offset from the exhaust opening.
MODULAR MONOPOLE FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS
A modular monopole for wireless communications includes: an antenna module having a floor, a ceiling and a side wall that form an antenna compartment, wherein at least one antenna resides within the antenna compartment; a radio module having a floor, a ceiling and a side wall that form a radio compartment, wherein at least one remote radio unit (RRU) resides within the radio compartment; and a base. The base, the radio module, and the antenna module are arranged in vertically stacked relationship, with the base below the radio module and the antenna module above the radio module.
Pole base cabinet
This disclosure relates to pole bases, specifically to light pole base cabinets that can house items. The pole base cabinets can be positioned between a light pole and a footing. The pole base cabinets provide a base to a light pole while adding additional functionality. The cabinets can include a main opening allowing access to a cavity in which items can be stored. Access to the cavity can be restricted with a door that uncovers and covers the main opening. The pole base cabinets can include support panels, internal stiffening panels, external stiffening panels, support tabs, flanges, tabs, a peripheral wall, and other features to provide structural support and enclose the contents in the pole base cabinet.
Street lighting pole
A street lighting pole including at least one upright outer wall portion defining an enclosed space of the street lighting pole; a substantially vertically arranged divider (11) dividing at least part of the enclosed space into at least two substantially vertically arranged bays, the at least two bays including a first bay and a second bay; a space air inlet into the enclosed space arranged at a bottom of the upright outer wall portion; a space air outlet from the enclosed space arranged at a top of the upright outer wall portion; a respective individual air inlet for each of the at least two bays arranged at the bottom of the divider; and a respective individual air outlet for each of the at least two bays arranged at the top of the divider. The respective at least two individual air inlets and the respective at least two individual air outlets provide separate air flows in each of the at least two bays for cooling thereof, allowing to individually control the climate in each of the at least two bays of the street lighting pole.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DEPLOYMENT AND OPERATION OF VERTICAL TAKE-OFF AND LANDING (VTOL) UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLES
An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) system provides for UAV deployment and remote, unattended operation with reduced logistics requirements. The system includes a launcher that can include one or more containers, or hangars, configured to house vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) UAVs. The system can further include a VTOL UAV orientation and charging module configured to mechanically position a UAV within a container and facilitate electrical mating and charging of a battery in the UAV. These operations, and others, can be performed by remote command that can initiate a series of pre-programmed steps. The UAV system can further include a power generation and storage subsystem, a security subsystem, a command and control subsystem and a communications subsystem. Command, control and communications can be provided between a remote station and the UAV.
Small Cell Smart Pole
A small cell smart pole includes a base including a precast cement lower shroud, a vertical tube extending from the base, a gasketed top shroud coupled to the top of the vertical tube, and a small cell antenna disposed above the gasketed top shroud.
STREET POLE, STREET LIGHTING POLE, LUMINAIRE AND MANUFACTURING METHODS THEREOF
A street pole comprising an antenna section with a coaxially mounted antenna around a pole. The antenna section having a length L and comprising at least one of the following features: —suspension with O-rings wherein the O-rings are each mounted at a distance Dr of 0.5*(1−½√2)*L from a respective end of the antenna; —a fix suspension at bottom; —a reduced outer diameter of the pole at at least one end (i.e. top end and/or bottom end) of the antenna; and —one of i) an extruded cable sleeve with opening in circumference over its full length for easy assembling and to spring mount the cable sleeve around the pole, and ii) a grooved pole with specifically shaped grooves for collecting residual particles at preferred locations.
