A system for providing sturdiness to a support post, that includes a stake that is configured to be inserted into the ground such that it is positioned parallel to a support post that is perpendicular to the ground and an insertion-assistance member that is configured to be removably attached to the stake. The insertion-assistance member includes a body, and a lip that extends in a direction that is perpendicular to the body such that a portion of the lip extends beyond the body in the direction that is perpendicular to the body. The lip is configured to receive force and then transmit the force to the stake to drive the stake into the ground. After driving the stake into the ground, the insertion-assistance member is configured to be removed from the stake and the stake is then secured to the support post to provide sturdiness to the support post.

Each unit is provided with a ring block coaxially fixed on the top of the unit, a ring slot coaxially formed in the bottom of the unit, two first sealing rings arranged on the top of the unit and a second sealing ring arranged on the top of the ring block of the unit. The ring block is provided with multiple first connection elements. Multiple second connection elements are arranged in the ring slot. For two adjacent prefabricated cylindrical units of the recyclable cylindrical structure, the ring block of the lower unit inserts into the ring slot of the upper unit and the first connection elements of the lower unit are corresponding and jammed one-to-one with the second connection elements of the upper unit.

A system for assembling/disassembling a windmill in a supporting tower, comprising a intermediate fixing structure with hydraulic supports for attachment, by pressure, to the tower; a main structure capable of being attached to the tower at various working positions by absorbing the diametral differences of the latter; two pivoting arms hinged to the main structure and capable of being positioned by hydraulic actuators; a secondary structure for hoisting tower segments, equipped with four cranes of a minor size for handling the main structure and the pivoting arms during hoisting/descent, and a counterbalancing group adjustable in height by means of capstans. The main structure and the intermediate structure include a detachable side for their withdrawal and separation from the tower during disassembly.

A tower is constructed by erecting an upright former 6; assembling a first section 31 of the tower around the former 6; raising the first tower section 31; assembling a second tower section 32 around the former 6; connecting the first and second tower sections 31, 32, and repeating the steps to add further tower sections. Disassembly is the reverse process. The method of assembly is particularly suitable to mobile towers that are transported on road trailers and may be used with advantage with amusement rides.

The electric power industry has long standing practices for removal of aged and damaged utility power poles, which are not only time consuming, but unsafe for workers. To address this, the present inventors devised better methods, some of which entail cutting off the top portion of an inground utility pole to produce a pole butt, rotating the inground pole butt about its vertical axis to free the pole from the grip of the surrounding earth, and applying a lifting force to the pole butt during and/or after the rotation. Some embodiments implement the method using a rotary coupler, which couples a rotary drive via one or more pole collaring devices and/or one or more pole penetrating devices, to the pole butt, reducing pole butt removal time by at least half according to some estimates, while also improving safety.
