The present invention comprises a novel foldable yurt structure generally consisting of at least two foldable lattice walls and a foldable lattice roof. The foldable roof is to be positioned substantially on top of the foldable walls. Once the roof sits on the wall and securely and fastened with zip ties, an inner tension band or rope is encircled to prevent structure expand and hold the structure in substantially same structural position. The whole structure is covered by PVC tarpaulin, Vinyl tarpaulin, or polyethylene tarpaulin.

The suspension means provides a single suspension point which solely supports and suspends the tent 10. The flooring 12 is intrinsically tensioned and an internal support strap 16 prevents the floor 12 from sagging. Accordingly, the present invention provides a suspendable tent 10 which does not require any guy ropes or other extrinsically secured tensioning and/or supporting and/or stabilising devices. The sole weight of the structure is entirely transferred through the single suspension point.
