Oil lamp post cap holder
11655975 · 2023-05-23 ·

The present invention is a lamp apparatus that includes a reservoir for flammable liquids and a wick that can be incorporated with a post and within the cap of a post, such as a deck or fence post. The apparatus can include an external housing that attaches to a post and contains and conceals the internal components of the lamp apparatus within the external housing. This external housing can resemble and function as the cap of a post. The apparatus may allow for a user to remove a snuffing cap from the top of the external housing and ignite the lamp's wick, which then allows the post to function as a torch. The apparatus may also allow for a user to place the snuffing cap back on the top of the external housing to extinguish the flame and discreetly conceal that a lamp is contained within the cap of the post.

Disclosed is a fence post to be coupled to a flexible (e.g., mesh) fence to hold the fence above the ground. The fence post has a shaft to be driven into the ground. A downturned lower fence engaging hook extends from the bottom of the shaft to engage the bottom of the fence. The lower fence engaging hook is embedded in the ground along with the shaft of the fence post in order to hold the bottom of the fence against the ground. The fence post also has an upturned upper fence engaging hook extending from the top of the shaft to engage the top of the fence and hold the top of the fence up and above the ground. An upturned intermediate fence engaging hook extends from the shaft of the fence post between the lower and upper fence engaging hooks to engage the middle of the fence and hold the middle up and above the ground.

A fence structure cover assembly is described herein and improves the appearance and function of preexisting fencing. The cover assembly is an interlocking system of fence panels and posts that fits and interlocks over and around preexisting fences and is formed of multiple panels that are provided with aesthetically pleasing indicia and/or textures. The upper and lower protruding panels contain at their ends tongue and groove type locking mechanism to secure the panels at their ends while the first and second panels are further securable via predrilled thru holes to secure the panels together. The first and second panels are mateable and can come in different sizes where a short width may be required.

FENCE POST CAP
20170314292 · 2017-11-02 ·

A fence post cap is fabricated of thin-walled material with a cap portion above a plurality of depending walls. A first wall has an inwardly and upwardly extending thin-walled first protrusion with a first upper edge providing a mouth between the first wall adjacent the first upper edge and the first upper edge. Likewise, a second side wall, opposite the that side wall has an inwardly and upwardly extending thin-walled second protrusion with a second upper edge providing a mouth between the second side wall adjacent the second upper edge and the second upper edge. The protrusions can be positioned so that they are opposite one another such that a shortest distance between the first wall adjacent the first protrusion and the second wall adjacent the second protrusion is greater than a shortest distance between the first wall inwardly extending portion and the second wall inwardly extending portion. Each protrusion can be a wall of a dimple that inclines inwardly and upwardly to an upper edge where the upper edge is separated from the side wall from which the dimple extends. The dimple wall can have a notch extending from this upper edge. The cap can be a unitary structure fabricated of sheet metal.

A decorative covering for a chain link fence post includes a first post cover, a second post cover, a plurality of left chain-link receiving openings, a plurality of right chain-link receiving openings, a left interlocking mechanism, and a right interlocking mechanism. The plurality of left chain-link receiving openings and the plurality of right chain-link receiving openings are oppositely positioned of each other about a sagittal plane of the first post cover to receive chain link fences that outwardly extends from the fence post. The plurality of left chain-link receiving openings terminally traverses into the first post cover. The plurality of right chain-link receiving openings terminally traverses into the first post cover so that the first post cover can extend beyond the chain link fences. The first and second post covers are attached to each other by the left and right interlocking mechanisms thus fully covering the fence post within.
