Grass Guard for Fencing
A fence guard including: an elongated channel-shaped body member having a planar and horizontal bottom, at least two planer sidewalls extending upwardly from edges of the horizontal bottom and forming an open top, where an open longitudinal channel is defined by the horizontal bottom and the planar sidewalls; the planar sidewalls are outwardly angled in a direction extending from the horizontal bottom to the open top; and a plurality of longitudinally spaced openings along the planar sidewalls aligned respective of one another and formed to engage with each other via a connection member; where the connection member secures the planar sidewalls to one another.
Fence with Integrated Guard
A fence with an integrated guard includes a fence having a bottom end and a guard attached to the lower end of the fence. The guard can wrap around the bottom end of the fence. Alternatively, the guard can extend downwardly from the fence. Still alternatively, the guard can extend between adjacent horizontal members of the fence.
Article, assembly and method for securing a line to an external surface, such as a fence post
An article for securing a line to an external surface, such as a fence post, includes a spiral member having a first end and a second end. The first end is adapted to be secured to the external surface. The spiral member has a curved portion extending from the first end. The curved portion has an exterior surface. The second end has an outer surface that overlies in spaced relation the exterior surface of the curved portion. The space between the exterior surface of the curved portion and the outer surface of the second end having a distance that is greater than a diameter or thickness of the line. The spiral member has a circular cross-section. The curved portion extends for greater than 360°.

Chain link fence with internally retained slats and method of making the same
A chain link fence with retained slats including a chain link fence with two or more slats inserted into the fence, each slat haVing two opposing apertures bounding an internal channel and at least one band disposed through the internal channels so as to retain the slats within the chain link fence. Apertures may form cutouts in the slats. The band is flexible and inserted into the chain link fence before installation. The entire system is configured to be rolled and unrolled. A method of making the chain link fence with retained slats is also provided.
VERTICAL CABLE RAIL BARRIER
A vertical cable barrier includes a top rail defining a plurality of top through holes spaced apart along a top web portion. A bottom rail includes a bottom web portion and a pair of bottom leg portions, where the bottom web portion and the pair of bottom leg portions form a channel, and the bottom web portion defines a plurality of bottom through holes spaced apart along the bottom web portion and aligned with the top through holes. A vertical cable is disposed on each side of a rigid support member. Each vertical cable includes a top end directly attached to a hollow tubular shank of a first top swage fitting and a bottom end of received in and directly attached to a hollow tubular shank of a first bottom swage fitting, where the top end of the vertical cable extends through one of the plurality of top through holes, and the bottom end of the vertical cable extends through one of the bottom through holes that is disposed in vertical alignment with the one top through hole. A first adjustable end member is coupled to the first bottom swage fitting and at least part of the first adjustable end member is disposed within the channel, wherein adjusting the first adjustable member adjusts a tension in the vertical cable.
FENCE SUPPORT SYSTEM
A fence support system has a catch member comprising a catch plate and a protrusion that extends from the catch plate and a retainer member comprising a retainer plate comprising an aperture, the aperture being configured to receive the protrusion in response to relative movement of at least one of the catch member and the retainer member along an insertion path. When the protrusion is received by the aperture, a curved base portion of the protrusion that does not extend through the aperture is located, as determined along the insertion path, between the catch plate and the retainer plate. The curved base portion is curved angularly about the insertion path.

VISUAL BARRIER WINDSCREEN, INCLUDING KNITTED INTERLOCKING CHAINS FORMING WIND PASSAGE HOLES, AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
A visual barrier windscreen includes a first series of monofilament threads formed in pillar stitches extending in a warp direction and a second series of monofilament threads formed in zigzag stitches extending in a first weft direction relative to the pillar stitches and binding adjacent pillar stitches. A third series of monofilament threads may be formed in zig-zag stitches extending in a second weft direction, opposite to the first weft direction, and also binding adjacent pillar stitches. A pattern of hexagonal wind-passage holes may be formed by cooperation of the pillar stitches and zig-zag stitches. At least a 75-80% visual block may be attained with the cooperation of the pillar stitches and zig-zag stitches.
