Folding Support Assembly For Fence Systems
A folding corner assembly for rapid and efficient installation of a fence post with support, especially for a corner assembly or endpoint. A brace is pivotally mounted between a first post sleeve and a second post sleeve. The first post sleeve and second post sleeve fold to a position approximately parallel with the brace in a storage configuration and unfold to a deployed configuration. An angle support pivotally mounted between a post extending from the first post sleeve and the second post sleeve is extendable by means of a slip joint. A stretch mechanism extends upwardly from the brace and slides along the brace. A tensioner mounted between the first post and the stretch mechanism maintains the stretch position of the stretch mechanism relative to the end post. A plurality of markings longitudinally spaced apart on the brace indicate a stretch specification.
System and method for stretching and securing fencing
A system and method for stretching and securing fencing includes a clamping member having a clamping channel, a clamping bar configured to be received within the clamping channel, and at least one fastener for securing the clamping bar to the clamping channel; a stretcher bar having a plurality of hook members for engaging the fencing, and at least one notched opening configured to receive a tensioning device; wherein the clamping bar and the clamping channel are correspondingly shaped, sized, and configured, such that the fencing is held secure between the clamping bar and the clamping channel when the clamping bar is secured to the clamping channel.
Fencing apparatus and fencing techniques
A parallelogram wire gripping apparatus (150, 250) is disclosed. There is a pair of distal arms (151, 152, 251, 252) and a pair of proximal arms (153, 154, 253, 254). The distal ends of the distal arms are pivoted to each other and are shaped to form a wire clamp (165). Each proximal end of the distal arms is pivoted to a corresponding distal end of the proximal arms. Each proximal arm is pivoted together at a midpoint thereof. A spring (130, 230) urges the wire clamp closed. A wire gripping jaws arrangement (165) incorporating fasteners (171, 172, 173) is also disclosed. A wire strainer incorporating two grippers (141, 142), a chain (144) and a winch (143) is also disclosed.
METHOD AND COMPONENTS FOR FENCE/POST INSTALLATION
A post mount (1), adapted to be installed in a substrate and releasably receive a post therein, including: a body (2); and an insert (3), adapted to cooperate with the body; wherein, in use, the body is adapted to be driven into the substrate, and, thereafter, the insert is adapted to be at least partially deformed, to thereby anchor the post mount to the substrate.
Efficient apparatus for installation of wire fencing and method of installation
A portable apparatus for use in the installation of wire fencing, including a frame mountable to a skid steer or tractor loader, a pair of spinning jenny support posts supporting a plurality of spinner support bars, each support bar provided to receive and support a spinning jenny dereeler. At a distal end of the frame is provided a hinged wire guide including at opposing ends an inner pair of grooved rollers and an outer pair of grooved rollers. Compartmentalized tool chests may be secured to portions of the frame as well as gate racks, to transport gates, equipment and supplies to the installation site. Guide sticks are provided, each presented with differing numbers of apertures positioned at pre-determined heights along the stick, for use in efficiently installing fencing along the fence line. A method for installing fencing along a fence line is also provided, using a portable apparatus supporting a plurality of spinning jenny dereelers, a hinged wire guide, and a guide stick.
Guide device and method for constructing a fence
A guide device (10) is disclosed for constructing a wire or cable fence. The device (10) is arranged for contact with, and movement along, strands of pretensioned wire or cable (64) which form the fence wires. The guide device (10) has a number of rotatable members (16) on a generally horizontal axis of rotation, which are each arranged in use to support one of the strands (64) at a respective, pre-determined elevation above surrounding ground (8). A plurality of fence posts (66) having through-holes (68) that are arranged for receipt of the respective strand(s) (64) can then be caused to slide along the strands (64) in use without contacting the surrounding ground (8), and be spaced apart along those strands (64) to form the posts of the fence.
