ROD SUPPORTING DEVICE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A rod supporting device is provided and comprises a body or sheet (12) extended in length and at least two supporting components (14, 15) located along the length of the sheet and arranged to project, in use, in a direction orthogonal to the length of the body. The device further comprises at least one fixing component (16) located along the length of the sheet and arranged to project, in use, in a direction orthogonal to the length of the sheet. The at least two supporting components (14, 15) are configured for supporting, in use, a rod for fencings and the at least one fixing component (16) is configured to be fixed to a formwork and limit the height of the rod as to the formwork. A method for manufacturing the rod supporting device (10) is provided.
Barrier with cable system
A protective barrier includes a first end piece including a first opening and a first anchoring member for securing the first end piece to a surface, a second end piece including a second opening and a second anchoring member for securing the second end piece to the surface, a rail extending between the first end piece and the second end piece, the rail having a first end disposed in the first opening of the first end piece and a second end disposed in the second opening of the second end piece, and a cable system including a first fastener coupled to the first anchoring member, a second fastener coupled to the second anchoring member, and a cable having a first end attached to the first fastener and a second attached to the second fastener, the cable extending from the first fastener, through the first opening, through the rail, through the second opening, and to the second fastener.
Retractable Stabilizer and Method of Use
An apparatus and method for use of an improved shoring system for providing stabilization and protection for fences particularly in high wind situations such as severe thunderstorms and hurricanes. The structure of the shoring system provides rigidity and security to a fence and acts to prevent or minimize the chances of destroyed, lost, or tipped-over fencing.
CRASH RESISTANT AND RAPID DEPLOYMENT SECURITY FENCE
A bullet resistant security fence resists impacts from objects, such as vehicles, impacting the fence. A configuration of a bullet resistance security fence can be rapidly assembled and deployed as a riot fence that can be disassembled and subsequently repositioned. The riot fence is stabilized by securement devices that pull adjacent ballistic panels toward intermediate support posts and by adjustably positionable stabilizers that can engage the ground surface in front and in rear of the riot fence, even if mounted on steps. Alternative security fence configurations provide more economical manufacturing and installation by having a ballistic panel between thin front and rear shells. The ballistic panel can be formed of aluminum plate or from multiple layers of ballistic fabric. A ballistic panel can be formed from strips of aluminum plate welded together to form seams that are covered by lathe formed from aluminum plate to maintain ballistic integrity.
Nonconductive, modular barrier assemblies and related methods
The present invention provides a modular, nonconductive barrier assembly for enclosing or partitioning an area. The modular, nonconductive barrier assembly includes a number of wall panels each having multiple nonconductive posts arranged in a common plane and separated by a gap. The nonconductive posts are connected by a number of connecting rods. Each wall panel is arranged in an upright orientation on a support surface. A number of support assemblies each having a base and at least one support arm support the wall panels in an upright orientation. The base of each support assembly is positioned on a support surface, a proximal end of the support arm is releasably connected to the base and a distal end of the support arm is releasably connected to a wall panel to support the same.
ADJUSTABLE TENSIONING DEVICES
Tensioning devices which may, for example, be used in fencing systems are disclosed. In one form, a system includes a pair of linking members each of which may be tensioned to transition from a flexible or somewhat flexible configuration to a more rigid configuration. The system further includes a tensioning device including a first engaging member configured to engage with a linking member, a second engaging member configured to engage with another linking member, and an adjustment member cooperating with and structured to selectively control relative positioning of the first and second engaging members. Each of the linking members may be engaged with a respective one of a pair elongate members spaced from one another, or with a first one and a second one of the elongate members. When so engaged, the tensioning device may be engaged with and tension the linking members to provide bracing between the elongate members.
Fence Erecting Assembly
A fence erecting assembly for anchoring a stretched fence includes a pair of posts that can each be driven into ground. A pair of lower sleeves is each slidable over a respective one of the posts and a pair of tubes is each coupled to a respective one of the lower sleeves. A pair of upper sleeves is each slidable over a respective one of the posts. A pair of support rods is each insertable through a respective one of the tubes such that each of the support rods is oriented to extend diagonally between the posts. A connection point on each of the support rods is attachable to a mounting tab on a respective one of the upper sleeves thereby inhibiting the pair of posts from tipping toward or away from each other. In this way the pair of posts can serve as an anchor point for a stretched fence.
Fence post installation system
A system of for installing unanchored fence posts accurately with one or two persons comprising tools to align the fence post while it is being set into an anchored state.
ANCHOR SYSTEM
An anchor system (10) comprises an anchor (16) and a tendon arrangement (18). The anchor (16) has an attaching formation (22) to attach the tendon arrangement (18) to the anchor (16). The tendon arrangement (18) extends from the attaching formation (22) as first and second passes (28, 30) of the tendon arrangement (18). The tendon arrangement (18) has opposite first and second end portions (24A, 26A). The system further includes a joining arrangement (32, 34) to join the first and second end portions (24A, 26A) to each other. The tendon arrangement (18) comprises a looped region (36) through which a securing article (38) can extend. The tendon arrangement (18) extends from the attaching formation (22) to the looped region (36).
FENCE BRACKET AND FENCE BRACKET SYSTEM
A fence bracket (10), a fence bracket system, a kit of parts, a fence assembly and a method of manufacturing a fence bracket are described. The fence bracket (10) is suitable for use with a fence panel. The fence bracket has a body (12) having a base (14), a front wall (20), a first side wall (16) and a second side wall (18); and a support (22). The support (22) is provided on the front wall (20). The support (22) is configured to connect to a fence post. The front wall (20) has a region comprising an aperture (30) suitable for receiving an ancillary component (70).
