Wave generation assembly
A wave generation assembly for producing a wave in a pool for surfing includes a below ground pool that is filled with water. A boat hull is integrated into the below ground pool and the boat hull is partially submerged in the water contained in the below ground pool. An outlet jet is coupled to the boat hull such that the outlet jet is submerged in the water. A propulsion unit is integrated into the boat hull and the propulsion unit is in fluid communication with the outlet jet. The propulsion unit urges the water outwardly through the outlet jet at a velocity sufficient to generate a wave in the water which extends away from the boat hull. In this way the outlet jet facilitates the user to surf on the wave generated by the outlet jet.
Artificial surfing system
In an artificial surfing system for generating a standing wave, comprising a water circuit, in which a first wave generating device is arranged, which comprises a wave pool and a ramp arranged upstream of the wave pool, over which the water flows down into the wave pool, wherein the water circuit downstream of the wave pool of the first wave generating device comprises a water backflow, via which the water is made available to a pump with which the water can be conveyed from the backflow upwards to the first wave generating device, at least one further wave generating device is arranged in the backflow, to which the water coming from the first wave generating device flows.
Wave producing method and apparatus
A method and apparatus for generating a wave in a body of water may include altering a flow of water as it is urged through an inlet, contoured passage, and outlet. For example, a primary flow of water may be altered so that one or more secondary flows are created at angles to the direction of primary flow.
Wave generating system
A wave generating system is provided. The system includes an enclosure having a base and plurality of sidewalls extending orthogonally upward from edges thereon, wherein a plurality of pistons are disposed over the surface area of the base therein. A covering layer of a waterproof and flexible construction is pivotally affixed to a top end of the plurality of pistons and attached to the plurality of sidewalls. The plurality of pistons is operably connected to a circuit board disposed within a control panel via a grid connection and programmed to create patterns and contours in the covering layer via the plurality of pistons. The patterns of ocean floor conditions ideal for surfing, as well as other geometric patterns, may be programmed and operated using a display screen or remote control.
Plunger wave making generator system
A wave making apparatus for creating a surfing wave in a body of water. The waves are generated using a round bottom and front mechanical plunger. The plurality of round front plungers are assembled side by side in a vertical manner on a 90 degree back wall. The individual round front plungers actuate up and down, all at the same time, at different times, in sequence and can be placed in different shaped configurations to produce a swell into a body of water which then break of artificial surfing reefs to create a wave for surfing.

PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE URBAN BEACH ENTERTAINMENT COMPLEX WITH A CENTERPIECE MAN-MADE TROPICAL-STYLE LAGOON AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING EFFICIENT UTILIZATION OF LIMITED USE LAND
A publicly accessible urban beach entertainment complex is disclosed, with a man-made tropical, pristine-clear lagoon as the centerpiece of the complex, with surrounding entertainment, educational, sports, and commercial facilities, the complex having controlled public access and providing the look and feel of a tropical beach with clear waters and sandy beaches. In addition a method for efficiently utilizing facilities and land that are vacant, underutilized, have limited uses, or that are contiguous to or nearby recreational, educational, sports, or commercial venues is disclosed. The method providing a publicly accessible urban beach entertainment complex with a centerpiece man-made tropical-style pristine-clear lagoon. The method allows for generating revenue and increasing efficiency by pairing vacant sites, underutilized sites, limited use land, or sites that are contiguous to entertainment, educational, sports, and/or commercial venues with urban beach entertainment complexes. The complex preferably has a controlled public access, thereby allowing entrance upon payment of a fee.

Method and apparatus for managing and controlling breaker waves in a wave pool
A wave pool having multiple wave breaking zones extending across the pool floor, wherein different wave breaking formations with different wave characteristics can be generated within each zone, using the same wave energy derived from the same original wave, wherein surfers with different abilities can surf in different locations within the same pool. Specific features are provided that enable breaker waves to be properly managed and controlled such that intermediate/advanced surfers can surf in one zone and beginner surfers can surf in another zone. Included are special dividers to prevent surfers from crossing from one zone to the next, while at the same time, allowing wave energy to pass through. An attenuating means is provided to help reduce the choppiness of the waves. Unique exit areas are provided along the sidewalls to enable surfers to exit from the wave pool at various locations, such as directly from the zones, so that surfers don't have to surf or traverse all the way to the shallow end to exit the pool.
WAVE GENERATOR POOL WITH VARYING REEF ANGLES AND RETURN WATER CHANNEL
A wave generator pool that may be used for surfing, which has reefs configured to provide a variety of novel wave shapes. Reefs may have multiple sections with varying angles, causing the shape or direction of the wave to change as a surfer rides the wave. One or more embodiments of the pool may have two basins that share a common wave generator, resulting in substantial energy savings. An illustrative dual basin pool may have an intermediate basin on one side and a beginner basin on the other. The intermediate basin may have an easy takeoff reef section with a reef angle between 65 and 85 degrees. The beginner basin may have several isolated takeoff reef sections where a corresponding number of surfers can await a wave. Reefs may be constructed and reconfigured using a modular reef structure that avoids the months of downtime associated with rebuilding fixed reefs.
