ROTOMOLDED SPA AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A SPA
There is disclosed a spa. The spa generally having a unibody shell having a basin, a rim portion surrounding the basin, a peripheral wall extending from the rim portion, and at least one opening in the peripheral wall, the basin, the rim portion and the peripheral wall defining a cavity therebetween, the at least one opening exposing the cavity; and a frame structurally mounted within the cavity, the frame having a crossbar and a plurality of strut members extending from the crossbar, the crossbar and the plurality of strut members running along respective sides of the at least one opening, the plurality of strut members each being affixed to the unibody shell at locations distributed about the at least one opening.
Spa structure
A spa having a rotomolded unibody shell defining a basin, an upper edge surrounding the basin, a peripheral wall, a cavity between the basin and the peripheral wall. The peripheral wall having at least one opening leading to the cavity. The spa including a frame, decoupled from the spa shell, in the form of a plurality of individual components introducible into the cavity within the shell via the opening in the shell, and assemblable to one another inside the shell. The frame including side beams and couplers in continuous abutment with the upper edge of the shell, offering a superior structure and support.
POOL AND SPA SHELLS AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURE
A pool shell comprising a pool shell body including an angled feature, wherein the angled feature defines an open region on an underside of the pool shell body. The pool shell may further comprise an insert positioned in the open region for providing structural support to the angled feature. The pool shell may further comprise an overlaying member positioned over the open region such that the insert is positioned between the underside of the pool shell body and the overlaying member, wherein the overlaying member is a substantially flat material for defining an exterior ramp surface extending over the open region defined by the angled feature.
SWIMMING POOL ALIGNMENT
A pool unit including a pool shell, which has a wall, and a bracing structure bracing the wall to curve inwardly. The pool shell is fillable with water to straighten the wall to form a straight wall.
Releasable Locking System For Vertical Panels
A releasable locking mechanism for attaching a vertical panel to a support member comprises a first component attached to the back of the panel and a second component attached to the top of the support member. The first component includes an engagement tab that projects outward from the rear surface of the panel. The second component includes a tensioned lever arm comprising a locking edge that may be positioned over the engagement tab and hold it in place. An opposing tail of the lever arm may be moved by an individual, which then rotates the locking edge away from engagement tab and allows the panel to lifted away from the support structure.
SPA SHELL REINFORCEMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A system and method for reinforcing a spa shell includes a structural support layer on an underside of the spa shell. The structural support layer may include an inner layer of rigidizer, a central foam layer, and an outer layer of rigidizer. The structural support layer may extend from a bottom side of the underside of the spa shell, across at least one sidewall of the underside of the spa shell to a lip of the spa shell, the structural support layer forming at least one rib along the sidewall of the underside of the spa shell.
Reconfigurable spa filter treatment systems and methods for treating filtered water for spas and hot tubs
A method for treating water in a spa or a hot tub includes, for example, suspending a water treatment dispenser from an upper end of a filter cartridge disposed in a skimmer of the spa or the hot tub. The dispenser includes a water treatment material. A supply of water is passed from the spa or the hot tub into the skimmer and through the filter cartridge so that the dispenser suspended in the filtered water in the filter cartridge is operable to dispense the water treatment material from the dispenser, and a supply of treated filtered water from the filter cartridge is returned to the spa or the hot tub. A cover, for example, may be employed when the dispenser is not used.
NON-PNEUMATIC POOL WITH INCLINED SUPPORTS
The invention discloses a non-pneumatic pool with inclined supports, which comprises a pool, wherein the pool includes a first hard sandwich, a first soft inner wall and a first soft outer wall. An outer side of the pool is provided with inclined supports, which include a second soft outer wall, a second soft inner wall and a second hard sandwich. The first soft outer wall of the pool is fixedly connected to a soft top portion of the inclined support through a first inclined support connection. When the non-pneumatic pool is in used, the whole pool is supported from the sides; multiple inclined supports form stable triangular structures with the pool walls to ensure the stability of the pool during use. Meanwhile, the inclined supports can be tightly attached to the pool walls during storage, which can save space and has strong practicability.
PORTABLE KIDDIE POOL
A portable kiddie pool includes a main basin including a floor and a perimeter wall defining a perimeter of the pool, the floor including a radial groove that extends towards the perimeter of the pool, a fountain basin disposed above the floor within a perimeter of the perimeter wall, the fountain basin including at least one fountain opening, and tubing that extends at a first end from the perimeter of the pool through the radial groove of the floor to a second end that operably connects to the at least one fountain opening of the fountain basin, the tubing including a fitting configured to connect to a pressurized water source such that water from the pressurized water source flows from the pressurized water source through the tubing and to the fountain opening of the fountain basin.
ABOVE-GROUND SWIMMING POOL WITH INTEGRAL AUTOMATIC RAISING AND LOWERING HARD COVER, AND AN AUTOMATIC RAISING AND LOWERING RETROFIT HARD COVER FOR AN EXISTING IN-GROUND AND ABOVE-GROUND SWIMMING POOL
An above-ground swimming pool with integral automatic raising and lowering hard cover, and an automatic raising and lowering retrofit hard cover for an existing in-ground and above-ground swimming pool. The raising and lowering of the hard cover takes place with the utilization of two or more linear actuators that are telescopic or non-telescopic and actuated through the use of mechanical (screw jack, rack and pinion or pulley types), hydraulic (piston type), pneumatic (piston type), electro-mechanical, Piezoelectric and linear motor devices. The hard cover provides several benefits to the user of the pool.
