WATER FAUCET AND POOL ASSEMBLY WITH WATER FAUCET
A water faucet includes a first pipe, a housing and a first sealing ring. The first pipe includes a first sidewall, a second sidewall, a third sidewall and a first sliding portion. The first pipe includes a first accommodate space and an inlet. The housing includes a top wall, a second pipe and a second sliding portion corresponding to the first sliding portion. The second pipe includes a fourth sidewall connected with the top wall to form a second accommodate space and an outlet. When the first sliding portion slides to a first position, the first sealing ring is located between the fourth and the second sidewall to prevent water flowing between the first pipe and the housing. When the first sliding portion slides to a second position, water from the inlet can flow to the outlet via the first accommodate space, the though hole and the second accommodate space.
Swimming Pool with Composite Wall
A swimming pool wall, and method for forming same, including a plurality of layers of reinforced composite material. Each layer includes a thermoplastic resin and a plurality of elongate glass strands of reinforcing material. A first set of the plurality of layers has the strands running in a first direction, and a second set of the plurality of layers has the strands running in a second direction. The first direction is offset in angle from the second direction, and the first and second set of layers are fused together to form a unitary composite wall. The pool wall permits the use of a composite material which provides sufficient strength and resists degradation. The wall structure may be a plurality of interconnected panels both arcuate and arcuate and planar in shape to determine the overall shape of the composite wall enclosing an area where water or ice is retained.
Mounting arrangements for pool fittings and methods for mounting pool fittings
Arrangements for mounting pool fittings and methods for mounting pool fittings, for example, return fittings, to pool walls are provided. The arrangements and methods facilitate the installation and maintenance of pool fittings by preventing the undesirable rotation of the fitting during installation or maintenance. Aspects of the invention are characterized by mounting plates having one or more projections or recesses that engage one or more projections or recesses on the pool fitting to restrict rotation of the fitting. Mounting plates having one or more restricting projections or recesses are also disclosed. Aspects of the invention are not limited to return fittings, but can be adapted for use with any structure mounted to a pool wall, for example, to an insulated pool wall.
Modular pool
Modular pool comprising a support structure placed around a containment basin for the water and comprises a plurality of metal plates, joined together, which comprise a base for resting on the ground, an upright at least partially above ground, and lateral edges provided with a reinforcement flange. The pool also comprises fixing elements fixed to the base of the metal plates and anchored to the ground, a waterproofing layer placed to coat a bottom and a lateral surface of the containment basin, and a surface finish layer placed to cover the waterproofing layer.
Swimming pool with composite wall
A swimming pool wall, and method for forming same, including a plurality of layers of reinforced composite material. Each layer includes a thermoplastic resin and a plurality of elongate glass strands of reinforcing material. A first set of the plurality of layers has the strands miming in a first direction, and a second set of the plurality of layers has the strands miming in a second direction. The first direction is offset in angle from the second direction, and the first and second set of layers are fused together to form a unitary composite wall. The principles of hoop strength applicable to the swimming pool wall also apply to other cylindrical structures needing hoop strength arising from pressures inside or outside the cylindrical structure. The wall structure may be a plurality of interconnected panels both arcuate and arcuate and planar in shape to determine the overall shape of the composite wall enclosing an area where water or ice is retained.
Container assembly and method for making same
The invention is an assembly of prefabricated metal receptacles forming a swimming pool and a method for constructing the assembly. Among other features, the assembly is characterized by guided clamping structures that allow on-site construction without requiring on-site welding or access to the bottom or interior of the assembly.
Pump unit
A pump unit for a prefabricated swimming pool, the unit having a pump wall panel and a mount connected to or integral with the pump wall panel. There is also a pump located or locatable at the mount. The arrangement is such that when the pump unit is in use the pump is able to drive a current of water through the pump wall panel into a pool sufficient to enable on the spot swimming inside the pool.
Modular swimming pool
A modular swimming pool with one or more swimming pool modules that each include a floor element, and a wall element connected to the floor element. The swimming pool modules by assembly define an internal pool space. The floor element and the wall element of a swimming pool module have reinforcement ribs and the reinforcement ribs of the wall element extend towards the floor element. The reinforcement ribs are spaced apart from each other and on the external surface form open chambers configured, when resting on a mounting surface, to be completely filled with a binder. The internal pool space in the area of the floor element has a wedge-like recess, forming a continuous duct area of the internal pool space, and the reinforcement ribs of the floor element are connected to an external surface of the recess, which faces away from the duct area, thereby restricting the open chambers.
Container assembly and method for making same
The invention is an assembly of prefabricated metal receptacles forming a swimming pool and a method for constructing the assembly. Among other features, the assembly is characterized by guided or unguided clamping structures that allow on-site construction without requiring on-site welding or access to the bottom or interior of the assembly.
Exercise and Therapy Pool Structure
A pool structure uses an installation to receive a treadmill within the pool. The installation has a pan which is embedded within the floor of the pool. A duct projects from the pan through a sidewall of the pool. A motor uses a mechanical transmission extending through the sidewall to provide motive power to the treadmill. Anchoring studs, which are drilled into the pool floor, are attached to the pan via a structural angle weldment.
