Inflatable Cover Device
The present invention relates generally to the field of covers or enclosures for pools, spas or hot tubs. More specifically, the present invention relates to an inflatable cover or enclosure having an inflatable body. The cover includes a side surface with an integrated retaining aid, a valve and an integrated pump. The cover or enclosure can be placed on top of a pool, hot tub or spa, or underneath an existing cover and can then be inflated to a shape such as a convex dome-like shape. Once inflated, the cover prevents debris or water from accumulating on the cover.
PHYSICAL EXERCISE TRAINING TECHNIQUES
The present invention relates to a cover assembly including a frame including at least one inflatable portion. At least one cover is supported by the frame to define a chamber. Adjustment means is provided for adjusting the air conditions (e.g. pressure or oxygen content) of the pressure chamber.
INFLATABLE POOL COVER
An inflatable pool cover, including a main body to cover a pool, an inflatable bladder disposed on at least a portion of the main body to store air therein, such that the main body floats on water in the pool in response to the inflatable bladder being inflated with the air to a predetermined air level, and an air transfer unit, including an air channel connected at a first end to at least a portion of the inflatable bladder to direct movement of the air to or from the inflatable bladder, and a cap connected to at least a portion of a second end of the air channel to prevent the air from escaping the inflatable bladder in a closed position, and facilitate movement of the air through the inflatable bladder and the air channel in an opened position.
Portable bathtub safety device
The portable bathtub safety device is a portable inflatable barrier system, that when correctly installed and maintained (fully inflated) should help prevent people from falling into most types of empty bathtubs. The device utilizes a separate barrier cushion over the edge of the tub that should lessen the chance of serious injury by acting as a protective cushion over the edge of the tub.
PNEUMATIC STRUCTURE AND ASSOCIATED PRODUCTION METHOD
The present invention relates to a pneumatic structure (10) comprising an inextensible body (12) defining at least a network of internal cavities (14), each cavity having a closed contour in at least one section of the cavity
Each cavity being suitable for being pressurized so as to change the inextensible body from a rest configuration to at least one pressurized configuration,
Inextensible body having, in each pressurized configuration, a macroscopic metric different from its macroscopic metric in the rest configuration,
Each cavity being formed of at least two substantially rectilinear channels, each channel being fluidly connected to at least one of the other channels, the two said channels forming a heading change angle,
Each cavity comprising at least one non-zero heading change angle, in particular at least three non-zero heading change angles.
Physical exercise training techniques
A swimming pool cover assembly including a frame, at least one cover, and an adjustment means. The frame including at least one inflatable portion and an interconnected three-dimensional (3D) lattice of inflatable straight tubes. The at least one cover is supported by the frame to define an exercise chamber including at least part of a swimming pool. The adjustment means reduces an oxygen content of air in the exercise chamber compared with air external the exercise chamber. The exercise chamber has elongate sidewalls.
ROLL-UP SPA AND SWIM SPA COVER
A roll-up spa cover for protecting and insulating an outdoor swim spa includes a multi-layer flexible insulation sheet structure is sized to at least cover a top of a spa and comprises at least two flexible layers. Support members may be attached to the plurality of support members in a parallel spaced relationship. Flexible rods can be removable located onto or into the support members to form an arcing framework over the support members. A rain fly may be overlaid on the flexible rods. The support members may include an angled aperture for receiving an end of the flexible rods and end caps may be provided over ends of the support members. The flexible rods are held in compression between the angled apertures and/or the end caps.
Tube for preventing water from entering a basin
A flexible and waterproof containment tube sits within a basin and prevents objects from entering the basin. When placed inside the basin, the containment tube is filled with a filling fluid. The dimensions of the containment tube are similar to that of the basin such that the containment tube fits within and fills substantially all of the basin. The outward hoop stress of the side portion against the walls of the basin evenly distribute pressure and protect the basin from damage, such as debris, rain or flood, water, or other objects.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR STORING AND DEPLOYING SHEETS OF FLEXIBLE MATERIAL
A sheet of flexible material can be deployed or stored by unfurling or furling the sheet using one or more inflatables. After the sheet is deployed to, for example, cover a load on a flatbed trailer, the inflatable can be deflated for storage. A sheet that has been removed from the load can be stored by placing an inflatable along an edge of the sheet. The inflatable is pressurized, and the sheet is furled onto the inflatable by rolling the inflatable. The inflatable is deflated and rolled up with the sheet for storage.
Protective pool cover assembly
A protective pool assembly for protecting a pool from external debris or contamination. The protective pool assembly comprises a flexible cover and a bladder. The flexible cover comprises a top layer configured to resist weather. The flexible cover is attached to or rests on and protects the bladder. The bladder rests on a bottom layer of the flexible cover, or directly on the surface of the water. The bladder is inflatable via an air valve to expand the bladder in a dome-like shape. The flexible cover is pushed upward into the dome-like shape so that external debris, rain, snow, and ice shed off of the flexible cover. A skirt extends from a perimeter of the flexible cover to further direct the debris or contaminates over the side of the pool. A plurality of securing elements are used to secure the protective pool assembly in place over the pool.
