Modular removable covering and barrier system
A modular removable covering and barrier system. In one embodiment, a removable pool or pond covering system includes a track assembly installed on a deck along the perimeter of a pool, a sheet of plastic or other suitable material spanning the area enclosed by the track assembly, a bottom seal between the track assembly and the deck, and a top seal between the track system and the sheet of plastic. The track assembly may be modular such that the track assembly can be installed on any size and shape of pool or pond and can be easily stored when not in use.
INFLATABLE SURFACE-COVERING DEVICE
A device for covering a rectangular surface is provided that includes a cover (10) rotatably mounted on a drum (2), the device being capable of winding and unwinding the cover between an uncovered position and a covering position, rails (6) attached along the longitudinal sides of the surface, each of the rails includes an opening (6o) allowing the longitudinal edges (10L) of the cover to be locked in an air-tight manner, a blower system (51) suitable for blowing air (51a) into a volume under the cover and a flap (41) having an end (41s) which is sealed over a whole length of the second transverse side of the surface, a free end (41L) opposing the sealed end, such that the free end of the flap is in contact with the surface, the flap forming an air-tight seal between the cover and the surface along the second transverse side thereof.

HEAT-INSULATING AIR DOME
The air dome includes of one or several membrane shells made from textile-reinforced plastic film. These membrane shells are equipped on the entire surface of its underside with juxtaposed flat pockets which are heat-sealed on, bonded to, sewn on, or riveted on, each of which is designed to be open on one side, for inserting a multi-ply heat-reflective mat. Such mats are hybrid insulating mats having infrared-reflective metallized film or aluminum foils. Said mats can have multiple layers of absorption-reducing air bubble film to reduce the transmission heat losses. The openings of the pockets can be closed by means of a Velcro closure or zip fastener. A membrane is assembled from strip-shaped film webs, which are equipped along their longitudinal sides with a keder, and are connected with each other by connecting profiles in a force-locked manner.
