A suction head for submersible use in the water of an artificial pool. The suction head having a body provided with a suction duct and a suction pump placed inside the suction duct. The suction pump includes an electric motor coupled to a propeller. The rotation of the propeller producing suction along the suction duct between a suction mouth and an upper opening of the duct. The suction head further includes a central deflector placed between the motor and the propeller so as to prevent bulky debris from piling up below the propeller and discharging it to the periphery of the suction duct.

A hand-held turbine cleaning tool includes front and rear housings coupled to each other, an outlet at one end of the tool, and a top of the tool at an opposed end. The outlet is directed in a first direction away from the top. An inlet is disposed between the outlet and the top and is also directed in the first direction. A diverter valve at the inlet is moveable between on and off positions. The on position directs water flowing into the inlet from the inlet, up to the top in a second direction opposite the first direction, and then down to the outlet in the first direction. A turbine at the top has a turbine shaft that extends outside the tool. An abrasive member is connected to the turbine shaft and is configured to rotate when water flows from the inlet to the outlet.

A mobile filter for removing solid contaminants from water such as swimming pools. The mobile filter has a handle maneuvered chassis, a powered propeller housed in a tubular body, which propeller propels water through a removable bag mesh filter installable on the tubular body. A submersible battery pack is slidably coupled to the handle, and is readily removable therefrom. The submersible battery pack has a cord terminating in a submersible connector matingly compatible with a corresponding submersible connector accessible on the tubular body containing the propeller and its submersible electric motor.

A pool cleaning system is provided. The system includes a pool pole. The system also includes an angled attachment device configured to connect to an end of the pool pole. The system additionally includes specialty tools structured to connect to an end of the angled attachment device. The angled attachment device is structured to connect to pool poles and to specialty devices in such a way to provide a plurality of angles to allow cleaning of pool surfaces and pool surface areas in an effective, efficient, and ergonomically friendly fashion for pool cleaning personnel. The pool cleaning system is arranged to change the angles at which the surfaces are being cleaned without having to change out components.

An electric-powered submersible pool cleaner includes a base, discharge conduit, and outwardly extending flange. The base includes an inlet port, and the discharge conduit extends upwardly from the base and circumscribes the inlet port and a portion of an electric-powered impeller to direct the flow of water and debris drawn through the inlet. The outwardly extending flange extends from an upper portion of the discharge conduit and secures a filter to filter debris and pass clean water back into the pool. The impeller includes one or more blades having leading and trailing edges and is set at a height such that the leading edges of the blades are positioned to extend into the discharge conduit below a lower portion of the outwardly extending flange and the trailing edges of the blades extend above the lower portion of the outwardly extending flange. A handle provides maneuverability of the cleaner.

An in-water suction cleaner includes a portable housing for disposing at water of a pool or tank, a motorized unit supported in the portable housing for vacuuming a suction cavity of the portable housing to suck the water in the suction cavity out of the portable housing through a fluid outlet of the portable housing so as to create a suction at a fluid inlet of the portable housing, a manual scrubbing arrangement detachably coupled at the fluid inlet of the portable housing for scrubbing pool or tank surfaces and for sucking the water into the suction cavity at the same time, and a filtering element replaceably disposed in the suction cavity for filtering the water from the fluid inlet to the fluid outlet through the suction cavity so as to ensure the water after filtered being discharged back to the pool or tank via the fluid outlet.

A device for cleaning a swimming pool, containing water and comprising a bottom surface thereof, comprises a vacuum head defining a sweeping side, an inlet port, an outlet port and an internal cavity in fluid communication with the inlet and outlet ports. The sweeping side provides for being swept along the bottom surface of the swimming pool and defines an opening leading to the internal cavity. The outlet port provides for being in fluid communication with a vacuum for subjecting the internal cavity to a vacuum force for suctioning water and debris. The inlet port provides for being in fluid communication with a water source for injecting water into the inner cavity during suctioning. The vacuum force via the outlet port in tandem with water injection via the inlet port provides for the vacuum head to suction water and debris via the opening for discharge via the outlet port.

The present invention is a portable siphon effect vacuum cleaning device for the collection and removal of debris from liquid filled vessels. The invention comprises a handle structure to grip and control the invention in combination with at least one priming conduit and associated liquid communication path to direct the flow of liquid and debris to a desired discharge location, where priming conduit includes a suction end, discharge end, and a restricting valve positioned between, and through the action of gripping the handle and pushing and pulling in the axial direction, one can incrementally fill the liquid communication path until a continuous siphon flow of liquid begins, in turn realizing the benefits of creating a continuous flow of liquid to provide a continuous suction effect for continuous collection and expulsion of debris without any need for continual manual or powered pumping of that liquid.

A rotary cleaning apparatus for underwater cleaning including a housing, a battery, a motor and a flexible hub system. The flexible hub system includes a toroidal brush system coupled to a circular centrifugal pump assembly. The flexible hub system includes a flexible hub allowing the flexible hub system to bend out of plane. When the flexible hub system is rotated underwater at a curved surface, the brush system cleans the surface while the suction of the centrifugal pump assembly flexes the flexible hub system to evenly contact the surface.
