Apparatus for avoiding abandoning an infant in a vehicle
An apparatus for avoiding abandoning an infant in a vehicle, the apparatus including: a mechanism, for providing a first state of avoiding removal of the key from a vehicle's lock, and a second state of allowing removal of the key; and a control, for controlling the mechanism to one of the states of the mechanism as a function of presence of an infant in the vehicle, thereby avoiding the key's removal as a function of the presence of the infant.
Wireless communication system
A wireless communication system includes: a locking and unlocking device configured to control locking and unlocking of a target, the locking and unlocking device including a device-side communication module configured to communicate a first signal having a first frequency band; and a key unit configured to command the locking and unlocking of the target by communicating with the locking and unlocking device. The key unit includes a unit-side communication module that communicates the first signal. The key unit is installed in the target such that a distance between the unit-side communication module and the device-side communication module is within a predetermined distance at which communication between the unit-side communication module and the device-side communication module is possible and that an axis of the unit-side antenna coil of the unit-side communication module is parallel to the axis of the device-side antenna coil.
Safety trapped key interlock system
A trapped key interlock system is disclosed. A pair of hollow tubular casings located one inside the other and each having a series of elongate slots are used. When the lock is in a locked condition the elongate slots are aligned as inner and outer pairs with engaging members extending through the pairs of slots is preventing rotational movement of the tubular casings relative to each other. The engaging members are biased towards this locked condition. On insertion of the correctly coded key the engaging members are caused to move against the biasing force out of engagement with the slots in the outer tubular casing thereby allowing the inner tubular casing to rotate relative to the outer tubular casing and moving the lock to an unlocked condition.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR UNLOCKING AN ELECTROMECHANICAL LOCK
A lock operating device (100) configured to be retrofitted on an electromechanical lock (200) having a key-receiving portion (210) is provided. The lock operating device (100) comprises a maneuver knob (110) and a key blade (120) being operably connected to the maneuver knob (110) and being insertable in said key-receiving portion (210) of the electromechanical lock (200), and circuitry (130) which includes wireless communication means (132) arranged to wirelessly receive authentication information, and which circuitry (130) is arranged to communicate the received authentication information to the electromechanical lock (200) via the inserted key blade (120). The lock operating device (100) thereby allows conversion of the electromechanical lock (200) from a first operating mode, in which the electromechanical lock (200) can be operated by a programmable physical key receivable in said key-receiving portion (210), to a second operating mode in which the electromechanical lock (200) is arranged to receive said authentication information wirelessly and be operated by the maneuver knob (110).

LOCKING DEVICE WITH A STATOR, A ROTOR, AND AN ANTI-PULL-OUT DEVICE
A locking device includes a stator, with a rotor, and with an anti-pull-out device for preventing a key from being pulled out over a rotational angle range, wherein the anti-pull-out device can be moved into a first position and into a second position, wherein the anti-pull-out device has an elastic design, wherein the elastic effect forces the anti-pull-out device into the second position. The anti-pull-out device has a bent annular region for operatively connecting to the key, wherein the bent annular region includes at least one gap in the first position for introducing a key, wherein in the second position of the anti-pull-out device, the gap is modified such that the key is prevented from being inserted or from being pulled out.
