ROLLING DOOR LOCK
A rolling door lock for a roll-up door, and more particularly a roll-up door that includes a latching handle assembly fitted to the exterior surface of a roll-up door. The latching handle assembly includes a handle and a hook. The rolling door lock attaches to the hook and handle of the latching handle assembly to prevent forced opening of the roll-up door. The rolling door lock includes a main body and a detachable bracket. The main body includes a hook securing portion and a pocket. The pocket includes a slot. During normal use the hook securing portion of the rolling door lock secures the hook of the latching handle assembly, and the detachable bracket secures the handle of the latching handle assembly. The lock mechanism locks the detachable bracket with the handle secured therein to the pocket.
Wireless controlled blocking apparatus and single point locking system
A wirelessly controlled blocking apparatus to enable a single-point locking system for securing multiple access points on a cabinet panel. Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide for a wirelessly controlled blocking apparatus to enable a single-point locking system for securing multiple access points. In accordance with certain embodiments, the wirelessly controlled blocking apparatus is utilized to secure an access panel of an enclosure, such as an electronics cabinet. In accordance with certain preferred embodiments, an electronics cabinet comprises a plurality of quarter-turn cam latches being installed on the access panel and configured to selectively secure the access panel to an opening of the enclosure.
LATCHING HANDLE ASSEMBLY DOOR GUARD
A door guard for use with a latching handle assembly is disclosed. The door guard is configured to use the handle of the latching handle assembly in combination with components of the door guard to protect a pin that fits through a hole in the handle and into a lock of the door guard.
Door handle lock
Methods and apparatus for using a look on a door lever handle are disclosed. The lock includes a base configured to mount the lock to a door having a lever handle and a lever handle guard pivotally attached to the base, the lever handle guard being pivotable between a locking position and a non-locking position. The lever handle guard is securable in the non-locking position. The lever handle guard includes first and second guard portions arranged to prevent rotation of the lever handle when the lever handle guard is in the locking position. When the lever handle guard is secured in the non-locking position, the first and second guard portions are arranged to permit rotation of the lever handle without contacting the first and second guard portions.
Device and method for securing a deadbolt door lock
Disclosed is a security device for securing a deadbolt door lock having an interior face plate and a lever movable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The security device includes a base member configured to be secured to the interior face plate of the deadbolt lock, and a lock member pivotably secured to the base member so that the lock member pivots between an open position and a closed position. The lock member is configured to prevent movement of the lever from the locked position to the unlocked position when the lock member is in the closed position and to permit movement of the lever from the locked position to the unlocked position when the lock member is in the open position.
Knob assembly with free-spinning ring
An exemplary knob assembly includes a knob having a circumferential channel, and a deformable ring seated in the circumferential channel. The ring is normally rotatable relative to the knob such that rotation of the ring does not cause a corresponding rotation of the knob. When gripped with a sufficient gripping force, the ring frictionally engages and rotationally couples with the knob, thereby permitting transmission of torque between the ring and the knob. In certain embodiments, the knob assembly may include a detent mechanism operable to selectively couple the ring and the knob. In certain embodiments, the ring may include protrusions operable to engage pockets in the knob to provide for rotational coupling.
DEFENSE MOBILE DEVICE HAVING A RELEASE SYSTEM FOR SHELTER-IN-PLACE SITUATIONS
A defense mobile device for securing a door during shelter-in-place situations. The device includes wheels rendering it mobile and stops that, when activated, hold the device stationary. A panel has a ballistic core that resists bullets, a front face, an opening, and a cover positioned over the opening to overlay and enclose a door knob protruding through the opening. The front face forms, or has affixed to it, a writing surface. The panel pivots between a plurality of angled positions to facilitate writing and an upright position flat against the door. A locking rod, rotatably connected to the panel, pushes and pulls the panel between its angled positions and its upright position. A portal defined by a ballistic door viewer or viewport is located in the panel and permits viewing or observing through the panel. A release system is configured to deactivate the stop and enable the device to move.

A release system is configured to deactivate the stop and enable the device to move.
Double-aperture apparatus for attaching lock or lockbox to door lever
Apparatus for attaching a lockbox used for retaining a key to a door opened by the key to a door handle and especially a door lever used to open and close the door. The apparatus includes two arms each having a head portion and a bottom portion below the head portion. The arms have an open state in which the head portions are at least partly separated from one another, and a closed state in which two different-sized apertures are defined between the head portions and separately receive the door handle. The arms are positionable around the door handle or removable from such a position when in the open state. The arms are maintained in the closed state and movement thereof from the closed state to the open state is prevented by inserting a shackle of the lockbox through a staple engaged with both arms.
