VEHICLE LOCK DEVICE
A vehicle lock device includes a base including an entry groove for entry of a striker, a latch that pivots between a restraining position to restrain the striker and a release position to release the striker and also to allow entry of the striker, a locking lever engaging the latch and holding the latch in the restraining position, and a torsion spring that presses the striker rearward in an entry direction when a first arm portion comes into contact with the striker, and that applies an elastic force to the latch toward the release position when the first arm portion engages the latch. The first arm portion of the torsion spring is disengaged from the latch when the first arm portion is pushed down in the entry direction by the striker.
MODULAR LOCKER STRUCTURE
A modular locker system can include a locker base, a locker tower, and a modular locker. The modular locker system allows different sized modular lockers to be interchanged to achieve a number of modular locker configurations. The contents of the modular lockers can be accessed by inputting a code to unlock a door included in the modular locker.
POP-UP STRUCTURE OF TAIL GATE
A pop-up structure of a tail gate may include a tail gate disposed to open and close a passage of a vehicle body, a striker to be fixed to the vehicle body, a locking device mounted on the tail gate and locked to the striker to fix the tail gate to the vehicle body, and a pop-up device disposed at the tail gate and pushing against the striker by a predetermined distance to lift the tail gate by a corresponding predetermined height when the locking device is unlocked from the striker, in which the pop-up device may include a bracket mounted on the tail gate, a pop-up lever rotatably disposed about a pop-up lever pin on the bracket, a rotation lever rotatably disposed about a rotation lever pin, and a push home pushing the striker, and a pop-up lever spring elastically supporting the pop-up lever to rotate in one direction.
LIGHTED DOOR JAMB FOR AN ACCESS DOOR
An illumination system is provided for an access door may include an elongated illumination housing configured to be coupled to at least one of an upstanding jamb and a corresponding jamb casing extending along the one side of the access door, an elongated light transmissive cover coupled to the illumination housing, an elongated light pipe received within the illumination housing, an illumination source housing operatively coupled to one end of the light pipe, an illumination source disposed within the illumination source housing and configured to produce and transmit visible light into the light pipe so as to be visible through the light transmissive cover, a source of electrical power, and a control unit configured to selectively apply electrical power from the source of electrical power to the illumination source to produce the visible light.
Accessory rail integral with or mounted to a door
An access door may include a core, stiles on opposites sides of the core, an elongated panel extending transversely between the stiles, wherein a major face of the door between the stiles defines one or more recessed pockets along a top edge of the elongated panel between and the stiles and the elongated panel, and a notch formed into the top edge of the elongated panel and extending along at least one of the recessed pockets, the notch extending downwardly into the top edge of the elongated panel so as to form a lip in the top edge of the elongated panel with the notch positioned between the lip and the one or more recessed pockets, the lip and the notch of the elongated panel together forming an accessory rail, wherein the accessory rail is configured to receive and support a complementarily configured hanger base of an accessory hanger.
RACK-AND-PINION HANDLE SYSTEM
A sliding door system includes a stationary door frame, a sliding door panel installed in the stationary door frame and movable between a closed and open position, and a handle assembly coupled to the sliding door panel. The handle assembly includes a rack housing installed within a vertical stile of the sliding door panel, a rack positioned within the rack housing and movable between stowed and extended positions, and a handle operatively coupled to a pinion engageable with the rack, the handle being pivotable about a pivot axis between first and second positions. Rotating the handle from the first position to the second position causes the pinion to move the rack to the extended position and into engagement with the stationary door frame, whereby the sliding door frame is forced away from the stationary door frame from the closed position to the open position.
CAM ASSISTED HANDLE SYSTEM
A sliding door system includes a stationary door frame, a sliding door panel installed in the stationary door frame and movable between closed and open positions, and a handle assembly coupled to the sliding door panel. The handle assembly includes a handle spindle extending into a vertical stile of the sliding door panel, a cam coupled to the handle spindle within the vertical stile and movable between stowed and extended positions, and a handle coupled to the handle spindle and rotatable about a pivot axis extending through the handle spindle between first and second positions. Rotating the handle from the first position to the second position causes the cam to move from the stowed position to the extended position and into engagement with the stationary door frame, whereby the sliding door frame is forced away from the stationary door frame from the closed position to the open position.
DOOR OPENING DEVICE AND REFRIGERATOR INCLUDING SAME
A refrigerator includes a door opening device and a handle assembly including a handle body and a handle cover assembled with each other. The handle body may have a structure for rotating the handle assembly, and when the handle cover is coupled to the handle body, the handle cover may constitute at least a portion of a surface of the handle body. Additionally, a driving arm may be provided in the handle cover and configured to push a push rod while the driving arm rotates with the handle body. The driving arm is made of metal.
Latch mechanism
A latch mechanism includes a first and second latch body. The first and second latch body respectively includes a first and second base, a first and second latch portion and a first and second acting portion. The first latch body disposes through the second base. The second acting portion is pivoted to the second base. The second latch portion is disposed on the rotational path and limited to the first latch portion. The second acting portion includes a first and a second pushing structure. When the second acting portion is rotated along the rotational path, the second latch portion is pushed by the first pushing structure such that the second latch portion is disengaged from the first latch portion, and then the first acting portion is pushed by the second pushing structure such that the first latch body is disengaged from the second latch body in a releasing direction.
Door open assist
An assist apparatus utilized within a door system to aid in opening the door. The assist apparatus may include one or more door activation devices (e.g., a first door activation device and a second door activation device, such as pulls on opposite sides of a sliding door) that can rotate around a pivot location. Moreover, the assist apparatus may further include one or more assist components operatively coupled to the one or more door activation devices. The door activation device(s) are configured to be operatively coupled to a sliding door and allow for rotation of at least a portion of the door activation device. The assist component(s) of the door activation device(s) aid in opening or closing the sliding door by engaging a door frame, wall, or the like as the door activation device is rotated.
