FLUID GUARD AND ABSORBER FOR LOCKING DEVICES
Described herein are example fluid guards that can be used with locking devices. Various aspects may be particularly applicable to electrical locks, but they may also be applicable to mechanical locks. A locking device guard can include a guard head, a guard body, and a hinge. The guard head may include a fluid absorber, a frame that is shaped to receive the fluid absorber, and a fastening mechanism. The guard body can be coupled with an electronic lock. The guard body can include an aperture that is configured to expose a face of the electronic lock.
Exterior Door Handle for a Motor Vehicle
An exterior door handle for a motor vehicle is assigned a functional component, which can be covered by a covering element, the covering element being arranged on a motor vehicle door, in particular on a bearing bracket connected to the motor vehicle door, the covering element having an operating section which is visible to a user from the outside. When the covering element is in the closed state, the functional component is inaccessible to the user, and when the covering element is in an open state, the functional component is accessible to a user. An actuator which is arranged on the motor vehicle door, in particular on the bearing bracket, is provided to move the covering element, and, when the covering element is in the closed state, the operating section can be operated by the user to activate the actuator.
Electromechanical Lock
A lock includes: a plug housing rotatable about a central axis to unlatch a closure when the lock is in an unlocked state, wherein the plug housing defines a plug passage therein along the central axis and an intersecting pin slot through a side wall thereof; a plug rotatable within the plug passage to transition the lock between unlocked and locked states, wherein an inner portion thereof defines a helical groove that extends into the intersection of the plug passage and pin slot; and a stop linearly movable parallel to the central axis between inward and outward positions to place the lock in unlocked and locked states, respectively, wherein a stop pin of the stop extends through the pin slot and into the helical groove to interact therewith such that turning the plug causes the stop to linearly move between the inward and outward positions.
Latch apparatus
A latch (10) is usable to selectively hold a closure member such as a door (188) in a closed position. The latch includes a body (12) which has a manually engageable handle (18) on a front side thereof. A shank (30) is in rotationally movable connection with the handle. The shank extends through the body and into an indexing cam bore (58) on the back side of the body. The shank is both axially and rotationally movable about a cam bore axis (62). An indexing cam (88) is connected to the shank. The shank is in operative connection with a striker (102). The striker is rotationally movable responsive to rotation of the handle between a latched position and unlatched position when the shank is in a second axial position. When the shank is in a first axial position, the shank is held in a fixed rotational position by the indexing cam, and the striker is held in the latched position. A cam bolt (164) is movably engageable with the striker to hold the striker in the latched position. The cam bolt is in operative connection with a lock cylinder (142). The lock cylinder is rotatable in engagement with a correct key to selectively position the cam bolt.
Door handle with removable cap
The invention relates to a door handle (10) for a vehicle door of a motor vehicle, with a removable cover element (11), in particular for covering a lock cylinder (101), wherein the lock cylinder (101) is provided for unlocking and locking a door lock, and wherein the cover element (11) can be transferred between at least two positions (I, II), specifically a covered position (I), in which in particular the lock cylinder (101) is covered by the cover element (11) so as to be inaccessible from the outside, and an open position (II), in which in particular the cylinder lock (101) is uncovered by the cover element (11), and a tension means (12) for actuating the door lock, wherein the tension means (12) can be mechanically operatively connected with the cover element (11) in the open position (II) of the cover element (11), so as to actuate the door lock by pulling on the cover element (11). It is also possible to initially detach the tension means from the cover element, for example by undoing a corresponding connection between the tension means and cover element, such as a form- and/or force fitting connection, clip and/or clamp connection, bayonet connection or the like, and then initiate the opening process directly on the tension means. To this end, the invention proposes that a triggering device (14) be provided for the cover element (11), so as to automatically transfer the cover element (11) into the open position (II), in particular in an emergency situation.
VEHICLE DOOR HANDLE DEVICE
A vehicle door handle device includes a handle case including a hole, a cylinder lock unit disposed facing the hole and configured to switch a door lock device between a locked state and an unlocked state, a cover member pivotably supported by the handle case and configured to switch between a covered state of covering a keyhole of the cylinder lock unit and an exposed state of exposing the keyhole by pivoting at the hole, and a lever member configured to release a latch unit of the door lock device. The cover member includes an operation portion configured to rotate the cover member from the covered state to the exposed state and actuate the lever member.
Handle unit
A handle unit having a handle element for opening and/or closing a lock provided on a moving part includes a lock cylinder, which is protected by a covering cap, and an attachment element, on which the covering cap is releasably disposed. The covering cap has at least one guide projection on the interior thereof, which bears on a guide surface when in the snap-in position, which is formed on the attachment element and is complementary to the guide projection. The attachment element forcibly guides the movement of the covering cap when the covering cap is released, such that the at least one guide projection moves along the complementary guide surface, away from the attachment element.

FLUID GUARD AND ABSORBER FOR LOCKING DEVICES
Described herein are example fluid guards that can be used with locking devices. Various aspects may be particularly applicable to electrical locks, but they may also be applicable to mechanical locks. A locking device guard can include a guard cover, a fluid absorber, and a coupling element. The fluid absorber can be configured in a closed configuration to fit at least partially within a cup of a lock face. The coupling element can be configured to couple the guard cover to the lock and can define a second axis. The coupling element can be configured to allow the guard cover to rotate about the second axis.
