Disclosed is a two-alarm security device that will alarm if the security device is forcibly removed from an article or item without detachment by a corresponding detachment device, and the security device will cause the pedestals in a store to alarm if the article or item is passed through the pedestals with the device still attached. The two-alarm security device comprises a slider operatively movable along a stop piece and a spring-biased engagement member that is operatively moveable into the housing of the stop piece. As the slider and engagement member move from an open position to a closed position, the security device alarm is actuated. A pressure pad attached to the engagement member assists in gently, but sufficiently securing an article between the slider and engagement member. If the article is improperly removed from the security device or otherwise tampered with, the spring-biased engagement member will cause a micro-switch to alarm.

The rotary latch mechanism includes a housing adapted to be attached to the first structure, an actuator assembly coupled to the housing, a linkage coupled to the actuator assembly and arranged for movement along the housing with movement of the actuator assembly, and a bolt coupled to the housing and to the linkage, the bolt arranged for pivotal movement relative to the housing with movement of the linkage. The invention relates to a switch cabinet with a switch cabinet door which closes the switch cabinet and has a door lock which can be actuated via a door handle, the switch cabinet door having a door status sensor which has a magnetic field sensor being adapted to distinguish an open state of the switch cabinet door from a closed state of the switch cabinet door by means of a detected magnetic field change, characterized in that at least the magnetic field sensor of the door status sensor is accommodated within the door handle in a region of the door handle which is magnetically permeable to the environment of the switch cabinet.

An electronic lock includes a circuit to secure a room, electrical device, or other resource. A controller is coupled to the circuit and to a short-range wireless interface. The controller controls the circuit to provide access to the resource based on cryptographic access data provided by a wireless mobile device via the short-range wireless interface. The controller may be provided to an electrical box (e.g., back box, junction box, etc.) or other type of housing and may be connected to a light switch or fixture circuit.

An access door arrangement of an elevator shaft, wherein at least one elevator car is moving, includes a door lock, whereby in connection with the door lock a reset switch of an inspection mode resetting device is located, whereby the door lock has a lock part movable between a lock position and an open position and whereby the reset switch is integrated in said door lock to be operated by the movement of the movable lock part or a related movable part. This solution allows an easy resetting of the inspection mode of the elevator.

An access door arrangement of an elevator shaft, wherein at least one elevator car is moving, includes a door lock, whereby in connection with the door lock a reset switch of an inspection mode resetting device is located, whereby the door lock has a lock part movable between a lock position and an open position and whereby the reset switch is integrated in said door lock to be operated by the movement of the movable lock part or a related movable part. This solution allows an easy resetting of the inspection mode of the elevator.
