Systems and methods disclosed for use in identifying and duplicating objects, particularly access devices such as house keys, office keys, automobile keys, and RFID key fobs. Within a singular housing, the customizable systems may include any or all of a key identification system, a key duplication system, an automobile key identification system, and/or an RFID key fob duplication system. Unique capabilities of the systems include the ability to verify that an existing automobile key matches data input by the user pertaining to the associated automobile. Further, the systems reduce frustration, error, and waste by programming a duplicate blank RFID key fob in a fully automated manner within the housing of the machine. To facilitate this process, blank RFID key fobs may be stored inside of the housing within RFID key fob containers that are readily stacked and dispensed.

A barrel lock key configured to unlock a variety of barrel locks requiring various stroke lengths of a barrel lock key to be unlocked is disclosed. The barrel lock key can be actuated between a neutral position, an intermediate position, and an overthrow position. In the neutral position, there are no outside forces acting on the barrel lock key. In an intermediate position, the barrel lock key can be configured to place a barrel lock in an unlocked orientation. In the overthrow position, the barrel lock key is fully actuated and is configured to maintain a barrel lock in an unlocked orientation without excessive forces that act to disengage the barrel lock key from the barrel lock.

A spare fastener pin can be threadingly stored in the end face of the tapered end of the tool.

A high security locking system comprising a deviated key and a lock housing. The lock housing may further comprise a face plate with a keyhole for receiving the deviated key and first pin slots disposed within the lock housing. The high security locking system may comprise a lock cylinder disposed within the lock housing and include second pin slots disposed within the lock cylinder. An idler block may be disposed within the lock cylinder and may be rotatable, which may allow the deviated key to align with one or more of the second pin slots in the lock cylinder. Additionally, a stationary block may be disposed within the lock cylinder and the deviated key may rotate around the lock without interfering with the stationary block.

The key device (10) also has a non-MACS key cut (20), formed at one or more of the key cut stations (18), for interfacing with a first pin (24) of a given telescoping plug pin. The non-MACS key cut (20) is dimensioned to leave material in the elongate shaft portion (12) for forming another key cut (20A) for interfacing with a second pin (26) of the given telescoping plug pin.

The transmission server determines the vehicle identification information based on the determining information, determines the key-shape data based on the vehicle identification information, determines one of the manufacturing bases corresponding to the delivery location, and transmits the delivery location information and the key-shape data to the determined manufacturing base.
