Discloses is a lock for releasably locking a first component to a second component. The lock includes a driving assembly, configured to be installed on the first component and including a rotatable cylinder housing; a transmission assembly, including a cylinder core which insertable by a key and is in torque-transmission connection with the driving assembly; and a locking assembly, connected with the transmission assembly and having a first position decoupled from the second component and a second position coupled with the second component, wherein the driving assembly can move relative to the first component and drive the locking assembly by means of the movement to complete the locking, and the locking includes: making the locking assembly move to the second position from the first position and be locked there.

EXIT DEVICE WITH REMOTE TRIM INPUT

An exemplary closure assembly includes a swinging barrier, a pushbar assembly mounted to a first side of the barrier, a remote trim assembly mounted to a second side of the barrier, and a transmission assembly that extends at least partially through the barrier and couples remote trim assembly and the pushbar assembly. The pushbar assembly includes a latchbolt and a pushbar operable to retract the latchbolt. The remote trim includes a handle that is operably coupled with the latchbolt via the transmission assembly such that the handle is operable to retract the latchbolt. The handle is positioned above the pushbar such that a vertical offset distance is defined therebetween. The offset distance is selected such that a user having a height within a selected range of heights is able to actuate the pushbar assembly, but cannot actuate the trim assembly.

A door lock includes a lock with a latch. An inside face plate and an outside face plate of the door lock are respectively mounted to an inside plate and an outside plate of the door lock. A washer plate is sandwiched between the inside face plate and the outside face plate. An inside cylinder and an outside cylinder are connected between the inside plate and the outside plate. An inside collar is connected between the inside face plate and the inside cylinder, and an outside collar is connected between the outside face plate and the outside cylinder. When the door lock is set in ready-to-open mold, the door can be opened by either rotating the shafts or the door handle by one hand. When the door lock is set in locked mold, the door cannot be opened by simply rotating the door handle.

Rotating cylinder and lock

A rotating cylinder applied to a lock is disclosed. The rotating cylinder is configured to guide a transmission element of the lock and defining a central axis. The rotating cylinder includes an opening, an inner wall, a first guiding structure, a second guiding structure and an engaging groove. The inner wall is communicated with the opening. The first guiding structure is formed on the inner wall and includes a first curved surface. The second guiding structure is formed on the inner wall and opposite to the first guiding structure. The second guiding structure includes a first curved surface. The engaging groove is formed between the first guiding structure and the second guiding structure. The first curved surface of the first guiding structure and the first curved surface of the second guiding structure are closer to the opening than the engaging groove.

A locking device comprises a latch, a spindle and a rotary assembly. The latch is fixed to an object to be locked for engaging with a bore of a strike; the latch has a bolt which locks the object. One end of the spindle is detachably connected to the latch to drive the bolt to move towards or away from the bore. The rotary assembly is disposed at the other end of the spindle, which comprises a cylinder body and a rotary body, the cylinder body is rotated by the rotary body as it rotates, wherein one end of the rotary assembly is provided with a spindle driving means engaged with the other end of the spindle to drive the spindle to rotate. The rotary assembly drives the spindle to rotate via the spindle driving means, and the spindle drives the bolt to move approaching the bore to realize locking.

CYLINDRICAL LOCK WITH A CLUTCHING AND A NON-CLUTCHING CONFIGURATION

The present disclosure is directed to a lock assembly that can be converted between a clutching and non-clutching orientation by rotating an outer housing 180 degrees relative to an outside drive assembly. The outer housing includes a notch and an elongate arcuate slot formed in the inner surface of the outer housing adjacent a through aperture and across from one another. A lock control lug is moveably coupled with the outside drive assembly and is selectively engageable with the notch or the arcuate slot of the outer housing. An outer lever is placed in a non-clutching configuration when the lock control lug is engaged with the notch and in a clutching configuration when the lock control lug is engaged with the arcuate slot.

A door locking mechanism is contained within a cartridge for use with a tubular style door lock. The cartridge activates and deactivates the door lock with a manual depression of a push button. Depressing the push button causes a cam to rotate thus converting the axial motion of the push button into a rotary motion thereby activating the door lock. Once locked, both the interior and exterior door knobs may not be rotated. In order to unlock the door, the push button is depressed a second time thereby rotating the cam in an opposing direction and deactivating the door lock.
