KNOB-LESS HORIZONTAL-SHIFT FIRE DOOR LOCK
20230027980 · 2023-01-26 ·

A knob-less horizontal-shift fire door lock includes a base including a longitudinal bar, an unlocked-state positioning member arranged in the longitudinal bar and having a positioning section; a latch pivoted to the base and having a free end elastically biased outside the base to engage a keeper on a door jamb; a push board pivoted in the base; and a handle bar slidably mounted on the longitudinal bar. The handle bar is biased by an elastic element to protrude outwards and moving a guide pin to slide in a guide groove of the positioning section. The handle bar is depressible toward the longitudinal bar to move the push board to drive the latch to retract into the base to achieve an unlocked state. The handle bar is further shiftable horizontally to cause the guide pin to slide into a horizontal groove of the positioning section for being secured in position.

BUCKLE LOCK ASSEMBLY

A buckle lock assembly has a hook unit, a fixing base, a wrench unit, a buckling ring unit, and a lock. The hook unit is adapted to be securely mounted on a first locked unit. The fixing base is adapted to be securely mounted on a second locked unit and has a locking segment. The wrench unit is pivotally mounted on the fixing base. The buckling ring unit is pivotally mounted on the wrench unit and selectively clasps the hook unit. The lock is securely mounted on the wrench unit and has a locked state and an unlocked state. In a locked state, the lock engages with the locking segment to limit the wrench unit pivoting relative to the fixing base. In an unlocked state, the lock disengages from the locking segment to allow the wrench unit to pivot relative to the fixing base.

LATCH STRUCTURE

A latch structure according to an embodiment includes a body, a locking body, a latch head, a plunger, and a latch stopper. The body is disposed inside a door. The locking body moves in response to an external operation. The latch head protrudes from the body to maintain the door in a closed position, and rotates when the locking body is spaced apart at least a predetermined distance. The plunger retracts into the body to prevent the latch head from rotating while the door is being closed. The latch stopper prevents the protruding latch head from retracting into the body when the plunger is maintained within the body.

An actuator mechanism of a vehicle latch assembly includes an electric motor having an output shaft. Also included is a worm coupled to the output shaft. Further included is a worm gear driven by the worm. Yet further included is a spring operatively coupled to the worm gear and to a latch housing, the spring having a first leg extending through an aperture defined by the worm gear and a second leg extending into a receiving hole defined by the housing, the first leg including a first segment extending along a first leg axis and a second segment oriented at a non-parallel angle to the first leg axis, the second segment contacting a face of the worm gear to prevent removal of the spring.

Appliance latch striker

A latch system provides a latch striker including a flexible arm that can navigate a hook on the latch striker through an aperture in a corresponding latch mechanism. The aperture provides a tortuous passageway through which a hook on the latch striker must pass to activate an internal switch allowing operation of the appliance.

A latch having a housing and a latch mechanism located within an interior portion of the housing. The latch mechanism includes an arm, a pair of socket screws, a pair of torsion springs, each of which is connected rotatably to the arm and engages a corresponding one of the pair of socket screws, a bolt mechanism attached rotatably to the housing, and a link attached pivotally to the arm and attached to the bolt mechanism. The socket screws are utilized to adjust loads on the springs. The bolt mechanism is movable between a first position, in which the arm and the link are toggled with one another under the loads of the springs and the bolt mechanism is adapted to engage an external structure, and a second position, in which the link and the arm are untoggled with one another and the bolt mechanism is disengaged with the external structure.
