SYSTEM, LAVATORY, AIRPLANE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A LAVATORY DOOR BY A USER AND AUTHORIZED ENTITIES
A control and information system is for a lavatory of an aircraft, where the lavatory has a door. The system contains a door actuator for opening and closing, a lock actuator for locking and unlocking the door, a control device for controlling the door actuator and the lock actuator, a human-machine interface for actuating the door by a user, as well as a communication interface for exchanging information between an authorized entity and the control device. The lavatory contains a wall structure supporting the door, and the control and information system. A user controls the door via the human-machine interface. Information about the communication interface is exchanged between the control device and the authorized entity.
Locking mechanism including energy storage
Certain aspects of the technology disclosed herein include an apparatus and method for storing energy in a electromechanical lock. The electromechanical lock can include a main housing and a deadbolt. The main housing can be configured to extend a deadbolt along a path to lock and/or unlock a door. The deadbolt can have a hollow inner region configured to receive an energy storage device. The energy storage device within the deadbolt can be electrically connected to the main housing. The energy storage device can be used to power an actuator and/or accelerometer in the main housing.
Dead bolt lock system and method of retracting a dead bolt
A dead bolt lock system including a slider member operatively coupled to a dead bolt such that when the slider member is in a first position, the dead bolt is in an extended position. When the slider member is in a second position, the dead bolt is in the retracted position. The system also includes a first movable member positioned in a path of movement of the slider member and configured to be displaced by the slider member to allow the slider member to move to the second position. The system includes a first lock having a first condition preventing the displacement of the first movable member and a second condition allowing the displacement of the first movable member, a second lock having a first condition preventing the displacement of the first movable member and a second condition allowing the displacement of the first movable member.
Domestic electrical appliance, in particular a dishwashing machine
A domestic electrical appliance, in particular a dishwashing machine, includes a main appliance body having a product treatment chamber, a door mounted on the main appliance body so as to be pivotable about a horizontal pivot axis close to the floor for closing an access opening to the product treatment chamber and a locking device having a locking assembly arranged on the main appliance body and a closing pin arranged on the door. The locking assembly has a latch movable between a release position and a latching position where the latch engages behind the closing pin to hold the door closed and releases the closing pin to open the door. The latch performs a rotational movement along a horizontal plane as it moves between the release position and the latching position, the closing pin being oriented vertically when the door is closed.
Door-lock device
The present invention relates to a door-lock device (100) for locking and unlocking a door of a household appliance, such as a washing machine, a dishwasher and the like, comprising a first (110) and a second (120) electrical connecting terminal, a closing switch (130) series connected to said first connecting terminal (110) or to said second connection terminal (120), and arranged to close when the door of said household appliance is closed, an actuator (140), connected to said first (110) and second (120) connecting terminals, comprising at least one coil (141, 142), suitable to generate a magnetic field capable of causing the locking and unlocking of said door, and a Hall sensor (151) connected between said first (110) and said second (120) terminal, arranged in parallel with said actuator (140), said Hall sensor (151) being arranged so as to detect said magnetic field of said actuator (140).
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ELECTRONICALLY LOCKING HVAC DOORS
Systems and methods are disclosed that operate a door latch of a door of a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system electronically based on operating a locking engagement device. The locking engagement device may be disposed on an outer portion of a door, the latch may be part of a latching system disposed on an inner portion of the door, and the locking engagement device may transmit a signal indicating that the locking engagement device is in an open or closed position to the latching system via a conductor electronically coupling the locking engagement device and the latching system. In some embodiments, the locking engagement device may transmit a signal indicating that the locking engagement device is in an open or closed position to a controller, which may then instruct the latching system to open or close the latch based on receiving the signal.
Aircraft landing gear uplock system
An uplock for use with an aircraft landing gear is disclosed having a hook configured to engage a capture pin mounted on the landing gear. The hook is mounted for movement between a closed and locked position and an open and unlocked position. A proximity detector directly detects whether the pin is “up”. An uplock hook sensor detects when the hook is in the closed and locked position. The outputs of the proximity detector and the uplock hook sensor may be used to indicate the “up and locked” condition, i.e., landing gear up, and/or to indicate a fault. Such outputs may be provided by an associated device of an avionics system.
Locking system and method for a movable freight container door
A locking system and method for a movable freight container door comprises an electronic module and a mechanical lock element. The mechanical lock element comprises a shaft, at least of portion of which is configured to be inserted through an aperture in the electronic module, across a door handle retention region, and into a cavity in the electronic module. The shaft is securely retained in the electronic module by moving a lock mechanism to a locked position. At least one magnetic field sensor in the electronic module is used to read the position of the shaft in the cavity by sensing or not sensing one or more magnets in the shaft. A wireless communication component in the electronic module wirelessly transmits magnetic field sensor information.
LOCKSET WITH DOOR OPEN AND CLOSE SENSING
An electronic lockset assembly is configured to determine whether or not a door is open or closed before the lockset actuates a bolt. In one aspect, a wireless electronic lockset is disclosed. The wireless electronic lockset includes a processing unit, a bolt movable between a locked position and an unlocked position, a motor actuatable by the processing unit to move the bolt between the locked and unlocked positions, and a sensor communicatively connected to the processing unit and configured to detect air pressure. The processing unit is configured to execute instructions to receive, from the sensor, air pressure signals, and determine whether a door is closed based at least in part on a change in the air pressure reflected in the air pressure signals.
