Remotely controlled cabinet assembly
A remotely controlled cabinet assembly includes a cabinet unit that includes a central cabinet and a door that is hingedly coupled to the central cabinet. A plurality of locking units is each coupled to the central cabinet. Each of the locking units releasably engages the door for locking the door on the central cabinet. A control unit is coupled to the cabinet unit and the control unit is electrically coupled to each of the locking units. The control unit actuates each of the locking units to disengage and thusly unlock the door on the central cabinet. A keypad is coupled to the door and each of the locks disengages the door when an alpha-numeric code is entered into the keypad. An electronic device is carried by a user and the electronic device transmits an unlock command to the control unit for remotely unlocking the door on the central cabinet.
LOCK
A lock, in particular for an electric bicycle, includes a locking mechanism that has a latch that is movable between a latched position, which is provided for securing a counter-piece movable relative to the locking mechanism, and an unlatched position provided for releasing the counter-piece. The lock includes a blocking device, including a blocking element that is adjustable between a blocking position, in which the latch is blocked in its latched position, and a release position in which the latch is movable into its unlatched position, and a reception unit for receiving a release signal by which the adjustment of the blocking element into the release position can be brought about. A locking system may include at least one such lock.
Door lock with display unit
Provided are electronic door locks, systems, and computer implemented methods of use. In one example, the electronic door lock includes a locking mechanism configured to change a state of a door of a room between a locked state and an unlocked state. The electronic door lock further includes a communications interface configured to communicate wirelessly or wired with one or more fire devices. The one of more fire devices are configured to transmit a wireless or wired alert signal to the communications interface in response to detecting an occurrence of fire. The electronic door lock further includes a display unit configured to display an alert upon the communications interface receiving the wireless alert signal from the one or more fire devices, and configured to display an indication as to occupancy of the room.
Locking system for door, and extendible wire conduit therefore
The locking system can have an outer housing mounted to an outside face of the door, and an inner housing mounted to an inside face of the door, a wire conduit mounted to one of the inner housing and the outer housing and extending across the door to the other one of the inner housing and the outer housing, the wire conduit having two telescoping members, and at least one wire extending inside the wire conduit and connected between a first locking system component housed in the outer housing and a second locking system component housed in the inner housing.
Systems and methods for locking device management including time delay policies using random time delays
A locking device employs improved lock management techniques based on time delay polices that use a random period of time. The locking device receives a first credential of a custodian, validates the first credential and determines a random period of time based upon a time-delay policy when the first credential is validated. The locking device executes a lock release protocol upon expiration of the random period of time.
SECURE 3D PRINTER AND 3D PRINTER MANAGEMENT NETWORK
A printer management system includes one or more printing devices having a printing area for printing according to a digital file, an access area through which a user may access the printing area, and a locking mechanism configured to lock the access area preventing access to the printing area. A management server is communicatively coupled to the one or more printing devices over a communication network and is configured to receive a print request from one or more user devices or one of the one or more printing devices to print the digital file, transmit the digital file to one of the one or more printing devices, and transmit commands to lock and unlock the locking mechanism of the one or more printing devices. In one embodiment the management system is configured to update a printing status of each of the one or more printing devices.
Lockout system for energy sources
A lockout system includes a hasp assembly and a plurality of tags. The hasp assembly has a back plate defining slots each sized and shaped to receive a tag. The back plate and tags each have openings that align when a tag is received in a slot. A first hasp portion has a first loop portion and a second hasp portion has a second loop portion. The first and second hasp portions are rotatable with respect to one another such that moving the lockout system has both an unlocked position and a locked position associated with an open position and a closed position. In the closed position, the first and second hasp portions complete and define a closed loop, where one or more tags can be installed in slots preventing further movement from the closed position.
Hands-Free Door Opening System
A hands-free door opening system for opening doors without contact includes a foot pull apparatus and a hands-free door hardware apparatus. The foot pull apparatus comprises a pull plate coupled to a door. A pull body coupled to the pull plate and the pull plate define a pull cavity dimensioned to receive a user's foot. The hands-free door hardware apparatus comprises a sensor housing coupled to a wall adjacent the door. A fob sensor is coupled within the sensor housing to recognize the presence of an authorized key fob. A transmitter is coupled within the sensor housing and is in operational communication with the fob sensor. An electronic door handle is coupled within the door and has a receiver in communication with the transmitter to disengage when the authorized key fob is detected.
Emergency Lock Box Status Module
The present invention provides a device (lock status module) that comprises a status indicator, a power source connected to the status indicator, and a microcontroller having a wireless communication module configured to control the status indicator in response to a status of the lock switch that is installed in a lock box, and a built-in battery holder mounted on the microcontroller.
Touch isolated electronic lock
An electronic lock includes a latch assembly that has a latch housing and a bolt. The bolt is movable between an extended position and a retracted position. The electronic lock includes a controller connected to a circuit board. The controller is configured to electronically control movement of the bolt between the extended position and the retracted position. The electronic lock includes an exposed conductive touch member. The conductive touch member is in electrical communication with the controller. The electronic lock includes an insulating arrangement positioned between the conductive touch member and the circuit board. The electronic lock includes a housing at least partially surrounding the conductive touch member. The housing is electrically isolated from the conductive touch member by at least a portion of the insulating arrangement.
